Actors have become very selective about the films they choose and there is no sure shot formula of what a hit film is. Small low budget films have a particular setting and the character needs to match the script. She can't start doing Dhoom Machale just for the sake of being different. Her last two films have been small town roles but weren't identical in terms of emotions displayed. She did take it up a notch in Luka Chuppi and didn't find it similar to BKB which had a different vibe. Not everyone is lucky as Alia. Kriti is having to go through the hard route to prove herself. She doesnt have a super star boyfriend or sugar daddy. Otherwise with her looks and if she was a star daughter she would have been part of meatier projects.
