But he has to become superstar first 😕 Even Akki who had the most number of flop films was superstar by this time.

Why only another 10/15 year though? Let's not forget about Amitabh Bacchan, he is 76 and still considered as a Superstar. Okay I admit that Shahid's filmography is not as strong as Amitabh's when he was young, but still Shahid excels his skill and gets acclamation whenever he grabs the right script (including Kaminey, Haider, Udta Punjab). His Jab We Met is my Personal favorite. From a tranquil person to a raged person, he can show his versatility in any kind of characters. That's what so special about him and enough to give him a recognition as a Superstar of Bollywood till he grows old. I'm glad that Shahid is not up to taking those rom-com types of scripts anymore. Then he couldn't become what he is today.

He is one of the finest actors BW has seen. So I hope he is around for years to come. ⭐️

Was he ??? He was 38 when he did Garam Masala/Waqt/Bewafa. It was 2005 and I think that was the year he really took off. Now Shahid is also 38 😈

I hope Kabir Singh movie will finally bring him the recognition as one of the Superstars in Bollywood. He deserves it.

Hmm I thought he officially took off when Hera Pheri, Dhadkan and Ajnabee happened (so 2000-2001). However , Akki was already an established action star. Problem with Shahid is he doesn't even have that either.

Although he no longer has that innocent chocolate boy baby face. He still had loads of talent. Don’t mind him around at all. He deserves more success. He has def shown more talent than the likes of Ranveer or Varun if not had as many hits. Ranveer might have outshone him in Padamavat due to the script. But can Ranveer do a Kaminey or Haidar? I think not. So more power to him.
