Nyonika's motives and thinking

I am a bit confused about Nyonika in KYY S3. Did she want Manik and Nandini to be together or not ? And what about her sad story was it real ?

Its so confusing..also how did Manik suddenly change from commitment phobic to super confident just coz Nandini told him that his parents were faking? That should have shattered him more right ?
