Once a show grows on to the audience, they will watch it no matter what.

I am talking abt YRHPk, a basic format that is followed not YHM. I saw Mohabbatein on and off for 1.5 yrs. Apna show 1.5 tak tik jayega toh great hai.

YRHPK will survive for a long time. Don’t worry as long as the show is slot leader. Even YHM is getting only 1.3-1.4 ish ratings since long. But StarPlus and Ekta are both very happy as the show is slot leader and has twice the TRP of the second most watched show at 10:30 pm. No.1 in UK is additional bonus. Divyanka herself told this in an IV.

So YRHPK will easily see 2020. Don’t fret.

Just like TV, YRHPK gets a stepchild treatment on Hotstar as well...
Not sure if Hotstar interface and profile is different based on the country, but in the US what I have noticed is that unless you are really looking for YRHPK, it is very easy to miss it. It is not listed in the Popular or Trending shows categories which are shown at the top of the page. You have to scroll down some to the New Shows category (yes, it's still considered a new show!) and then you have to scroll to the right and then you can spot it. So it is possible for a lot of people on Hotstar to not even know about the show yet...

On the other hand Mata's 2 wives soon to turn into 2 husbands dream epic love saga is very hard to miss... it's in your face... everywhere!

Nowadays the app is not showing shows in popularity order. So random off air shows are also being listed to top. Something is wrong with Hotstar these days.

Definitely cannot deny luxury of internet which made life easier especially working people like me. SP is targeting online audience mainly urban through their VIP subscription, if they continue to do next 3 months (telecast before TV) then it's working for them in terms revenues and strategy and will be interesting to see outcome and also their research which may be TRP and online audiences are completely different set so doesn't impact TV ratings.

She creates multiple drama in the form of weddings, engagements, business take overs , cold war between families, these days murders are current flavours, after some kid who has a rich dad and the FL in the most unusual circumstances land up together. Story goes on

Gul has pulled off rich boy, middle class girl with spunk and whole lot of OTT drama in zee as well as SP.

RS audiences can see similarities in Mishti and Naira or Akshara. Their respective spouses characters are replicated via Abir Rajvansh ( possibilities idk)

Everything is in repeat mode. A loyal audience of one channel gets the copy and paste story in another channel created by the same producer

Hope the ph manages to capture tv viewers as well as those VIPHotstar subscriptions too.

Don’t underestimate Rajan Shahi! Look at YRKKH!

Of course YRHPK will also run wedding and associated festivities for months. More so because this show is mainly centred around getting married. So when the leads get married, you’d prolly have one whole episode of Mishti and fam admiring her makeup and costume in front of the mirror and another episode with only Abir and Mishti travelling on a horse back to the mandap.

Staple RS stuff. And all festivals however small will be celebrated in a huge way and there’d be some drama in every damn festival. That is how YRKKH most of the time. Anytime you turn on that show, in all probability they are celebrating some God knows what festival! 🤣

After a point, he’d bring in Ekta stuff. Like husband getting jealous of wife’s growth, suspecting her of EMA, leap and separation. All that bull shit will happen in every long running serial.
