Awww..Divya..I think all goes through those phase..Of defending our favorite and shutting up the bashers..And eventually we became mature and ignore those negative things..And even move on from the craziness of shipping..TBH these shipping are toxic..How people base their happiness on strangers..And wanting to them get married..If they broke up..They cry for days and bash the other girl/guy who the actors date..I don't think they will cry even if they break up..Worst is they can't even see the actors to be paired with others..

Thankfully kdramas are short..And no one demands it..😆 Or else these actors will be jobless..

Of course..Control is the main theme of this book..So its natural..She defies him too..I was never interested in that movie..I don't think any movie can do justice to a book..Given everything is constrained to 2.30 hours..Its difficult too..

Not sure on those things too..But don't think they got rights..They even claim it to be their own story if I am not wrong..I read some articles how Vikas went to many PH to produce the script and all turned down and eventually he produced under his own....Not mentioned about rights in any page like wikipedia or Google..

And if they got rights..Its usually mentioned in the opening credits for every episode..Like its adapted from the book or remake by mentioning the original drama..

I think it depends on everyone's pov. I've read few funny romance novels but nothing quite matched The Hating Game lol.

@bold saw those reviews too. I think it's hard to match with your debut masterpiece. It can be tough for the author. Too much pressure.
