Bharat Collections Hit By Match On Sunday

The big cricket match has hit collections of Bharat on Sunday with collections looking in a similar range to Saturday of 25-26 crore nett. The collections in the big metro multiplexes are around 5% down while others are showing limited growth or flat. The final collections of Sunday may come in a little higher than the Saturday numbers.

The growth will come from the B and C centers with single screens leading the way but the film has probably lost around 4-5 crore nett on Sunday due to a tighter match than the one one Wednesday and more importantly India batting in the peak period for Sunday collections.

The extended weekend collections are looking at around 143-144 crore nett but would probably have been near the 150 crore nett mark if not were for the match. The total is still a very good one though not a blockbuster total. Now it will about the weekdays holds and where can they take the film. The five day collections are almost as much as any of the releases this year barring Uri - the Surgical Strike

Salmans underperforming film is already 2nd highest film of the year 😎

I appreciate how salman chose to clash with matches without any 2nd thoughts..... yet it is collecting reasonably ..had it’s been other stars movie def they would postpone it to some safe releasing date...

He picked eid 2019 for Bharat as far back as December 2017. I really don’t know if the world cricket cup dates were revealed at that point. I don’t know about excuses but I don’t think the film is underperforming. It’s pretty much crossed all films lifetime this year except Vicky Kaushal war movie. ⭐️ Inshallah it get close to that or crosses that also

Bharat box office collections are of to a very good start as it opened at 65% in morning shows and it is all set to be the highest opening day of 2019 by a distance as well as highest opening day ever for a Salman Khan movie however it has a lower opening than Thugs of Hindostan and Avengers End Game
