There is this show Karrle Tu Bhi Mohabbat starring Ram and Sakshi on ALT Balaji which had a similar plot.
In season 3, the leads gets separated. Backstory is that ML gets paralysed. He suspects his wife of sleeping with her boss. He humiliates her in front of everyone in a party. Out of spite, FL tells that he isn’t the father of her child when ML learns of her pregnancy. After 5 years, FL is living with another man and daughter, That man is secretly in live with her. I was so shipping this new couple. They finally made that man a psycho who killed someone just so that ML would be jailed and she’d have FL for himself.
Rubbish. In my opinion ML does not deserve the FL.
