It doesn’t matter to me: Arjun K on the age gap btn him and Malaika

Ever since the rumors of Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor dating started doing rounds, the audiences have been curious about their relationship. After dodging many speculations, steering clear of the trolls, dropping hints; Arjun and Malaika finally accepted their relationship.

In one of his previous interviews with Filmfare, Arjun said, “We've come out because we feel that the media has given us dignity. There's a certain understanding the media has...they've been respectful, kind, honest and decent about it. That is why I felt comfortable.”

In recent months, there was so much said, written and re-written about the pairs impending wedding. Even after they denied the rumors of their April wedding, which did not happen, people wrote about it.

In a recent interview with Times Of India, Arjun opened up about his impending wedding with Malaika and the age gap between them. He said, “I wouldn’t even want to speak about this and give it importance. It doesn’t matter to me, so I don’t want to justify anything.” Arjun also opened up about the rumors stating that people will always speculate, but there is more to life than just getting married.

The Gunday actor said, “It’s people’s job to speculate and mine to clarify. Log shaadi ke baad takle hotey hain. Main shaadi ke dauran takla nahi hona Chahta (People get bald after marriage, I don’t wanna be bald during my wedding). I am not interested in getting married right now. I am 33 and marriage is not the be all and end all of a relationship. There’s more to discover and explore about each other.”

Although he further clarified his statement by saying that even after coming from a broken home, he believes in the concept of marriage. “Even though I come from a broken home, I believe in marriage. I see a lot of happily married couples around. I believe it is a good option to have. But that doesn’t mean you can jump the gun and go straight to it. Life has to lead you to it. You have to discover things, enjoy the relationship’s ups and downs, and then see where it takes you,” he said.

It is no secret that Arjun Kapoor’s father, producer Boney Kapoor, had divorced his late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, and married the late Sridevi. On the work front, Arjun Kapoor was last seen in Rajkumar Gupta’s India’s Most Wanted. He will be seen in Panipat opposite Kriti Sanon and Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar opposite Parineeti Chopra.
