People are going to get sick of mediocre silver spooned actors and actresses being forced to us by their mommy and daddy dearest who want to live through their kids fame as they are now too old but still want to be in spotlight. Not like the olden days where there isn't much alternatives, with internet access continuing to spread wider and wider across India there is now alternatives and people will go to those thousands of alternatives instead or just watch past good films instead of going to cinema and wasting their money.

If Bollywood wants to survive they need to stop with the Nepotism, make good new songs instead of remixing and remaking old ones, and have good written scripts and stories instead of treating audience like they are idiots.

There are thousands of old Bollywood films and plus multiply other industries in India for me to watch instead so I'm fine if this ship does indeed sink lol

I cannot say anything better.🤗👏

Bollywood will never be rid of nepotism, it is part and parcel of the fabric of the industry. But we the audience can definitely curtail it significantly... by only supporting good films and actors doing good work. There are PLENTY of newcomers out there, who are talented and making a name for themselves and yet even here on a Bollywood chat forum, they barely get any mention or support. Is it a wonder these mediocre offspring of mediocre actor parents are already "stars"?

I think this shows who has PR and who hasn't. (you never see outsiders being so ..'publicised' until AFTER they get BO hits under their belt.. cause they cannot afford PR from before even starting..so we only get news on outsiders, at first, when they sign or act in a movie)

These nepo kids have news out about them for any tiny thing: from then going gym, or to airport, or going out- ever wonder why so much paps are getting them? ( I bet the paps make a ton of money- first from parents of kids..for taking the pics.. and then from publications willing to post them).

Nepo kids have mummy and daddy and TEAMS working to hype them to the hilt (make sure their names get internet hits and so on) .... to make people believe everyone is curious about them - and sometime the public also is curious to see how the kid of X, Y , Z star is coming up.

But yeah, I suspect AGGRESSIVE PR and a lot of hype for ANYTHING they do is the reason we see so much convo on them.

They are MADE to look interesting- fake fanclubs, paid paps to take pics and spread them over Nepo owned/influenced publications... They are making an 'ar't out of it.. . and some people might buy into this.

When I see these faces all I can say is ..meh...whatever..

Nepotism debate aside..... What's with all those ridiculous comments on Instagram about money. Literally all people talk about is baap ka paisa and nepo on the star kids pics. It's okay if they are frustated with nepotism but the constant baap ka paisa, baap ka paisa jaap on the comment section is plain dumb. Why are people so frustated about these kids having money and living a different lifestyle than the common public. Unke baap ka paisa uda rahe hain not yours. It's as if these commenters were born independent and have never used their fathers money and name. Insecurity ki bhi had hoti hain. It's like most people wait for the khan kids pics to come out so they can take out all their bhadas. Compared to the other kids srks kids get the worst comments on Instagram and most likes.. . Which is so mind boggling.

It's okay if you hate them for the easy access to Bollywood and what not but what's with hate for having more money. It's so effed up.

Bollywood has become so watered down and bland with it's new lot. It's like a doll factory with a cut base for all the dolls, but each have slight variations. This is my biggest issue with nepostism. In Bollywood, all these kids of previous actors and what not can debut and they can get it easy, regardless if they have so many flops *Ranbir Kapoor*

let's not get discouraged :D

I have faith in the future.. I think the BW industry will see better days, with better films, and hopefully better music - if nothing else.
