It was 11 am on the next day and no one could find Ishita till now. Raghu uncle was so worried and was blaming himself that he couldn’t take care of Ishita as he promised Mr Iyer. He received a call from Iyer house landline number and heard from the servant,

Servant-Sir, Ishita didi ghar aa gayi hai aur aapke liye pooch rhi hai.

R – Kya? Sachi Ishita aa gayi hai?

Servant-Yes sir vo aa gayi hai aur kuch hi der mein ek press conference bhi hai ghar par.

Raghu-Kya? .. Main aa rha hu.

He informed Bhallas that Ishita is at Iyer house. All rushed to Iyer house while Raghu was tensed about Bhallas reaction after the press conference as he knew that now he can’t stop Ishita. All reached to Iyer house only to see press conference preparations and media was also there. Bhallas asked Raghu about all this but he went inside without answering as he was more worried for Ishita while all followed him. He went inside only to see Ishita and Mihir were discussing about PC (press conference) only. He went and hugged Ishita asking her where was she making Ishita and Mihir confused.

Raghu (breaking hug)- Tum thik ho na? Kaha chali gayi thi tum. Aise bin bataye... Pta hai kitna dar gaya tha main...

I – uncle calm down. I’m absolutely fine. Calm down. Aur yeh kya hai ki kaha chali gayi thi.... bataya nhi...

Raghu – Tum thi kaha kal rat se?

I- Mihir ke sath Mumbai gayi thi event ke liye..

Raghu – Mihir ke sath....

I – Ek second... aapko pta nhi tha..

Raghu – Mujhe kaise pta hoga. Event ke liye sirf Mihir jaane wala tha.

I – Ha but kuch urgent tha that’s why I had to go. But I informed you... I mean I sent the message through Manager. Didn’t he inform you??

Raghu noded in no and Ishita was about to call Manager when he himself came to inform about PC. Ishita gave him an angry look while he got confused and aked what happened.

I – I told you to inform Uncle about me going with Mihir. Did you???

Manager - Yes…

Raghu - No. You didn't inform me.

Manager - Yes I didn't inform you but Mr Raman Bhalla….

Raman (shocked) - Mujhe.. kab...

I (irritated) - Again….

Saying she sat on sofa angrily and said,

I - Mihir please continue this drama…

Mihir - Manager, tell us clearly. Tumne kab kisko inform kiya tha.

I - From the beginning.

Manager - Mam, we were in parking lot yesterday night when you decide that you will also go with Mihir Sir. Your mobile phone was dead and when Mihir sir called Raghu Sir, he didn't pick his calls so you told me to inform Sir and you both left. I went inside and tried to talk to Sir but he was busy with guests and Mr Bhalla. Later when party ended, I again tried to talk to Sir but he was looking worried and Mr Raman Bhalla stopped me in mid. He asked me the matter and when I was about to say he told that he know already and Sir also know.

All looked at Raman who remembered and told what happened,

Flashback

Raman - Uncle se koi jaruri kam hai? Vo abhi thoda tension mein hai.

Manager - Ha vo mujhe unhe Ishita man ke bare mein batana tha. Vo yaha nhi hai….

Raman - Ha vo hum sabko pta hai.

Manager - Pta hai? ?... main ek bar Sir se….

R - No need. He is tensed. Abhi kuch bat mat karo. You may go.

Manager - Are you sure? ?

R - Yes, you may go.

Manager left.

Flashback ends.

Mihir - Aur uncle aapne jab mujhe call kiya tha I asked you that you are sounding tensed but then also you didn't tell me.

Raghu - Ha tab….

He stopped saying when Ishita asked what but he didn’t.

I - I can imagine that the reason will be same. Right uncle.

Raman - That time I told him not to tell Mihir because he may get worried….

I (angrily) - If you would not have interfered both the times then no one would be worried. But no. Today, this is proved once again that the sole reason behind my all worries and sufferings for my whole life is only "Bhallas".

Raghu - Ishita…

I - Please uncle. Not again. This time please don't try to cover up for them. Accept this fact.

Raghu - I accept it but please ek baat man le meri....

I - I will do whatever you will say uncle.. forever but just do me a favour that don't tell me to cancel this PC. Now I can't stop myself. I can't take their mocking anymore uncle. Let me finish it forever. Please I will be happy if you will bless me otherwise….

Raghu - My blessings are always with my daughter. And I was not stopping you but just wanted to request you… I know that you will not do anything like that but for once I was just worried if you will disclose our personal issues…

I - Don't worry uncle. I will not talk about personal issues. And it will defame me only more than anyone else uncle. I know that very well. Thank you for your support.

Mihir came to her and asked if she is OK holding her hand. She blinked her eyes. Manager informed that everything is ready. Ishita along with Mihir and Raghu on her either sides were going out after looking presentable while Bhallas were clueless. Ishita stopped and turned to Bhallas,

I - Aap log bhi aa jaaiye, yeh press conference aap logo ke liye bhi bhot jaruri hai akhir aap logo ki kismat jo badalne wali hai..

Before they could ask Raghu said that they will get to know soon. They just followed them. Outside, all the media plus some investors and Sinhas were present andwaiting for Ishita. Ishita sat in front of all while Raman was asked to sit beside Ishita followed by other Bhallas and Mihir and Raghu sat at the other side of Ishita. Ishita started the PC.

I - A very Good afternoon to all. Firstly, I, Ishita Iyer, daughter of Late Mr Vishvanathan Iyer and current CEO of the Iyer group of companies thank you all for coming here. Thank you so much. Now coming to the point, I know all of you must be curious to know the reason behind this PC and may have guessed it too. So yes today I am here to do few important announcements related to the company and to answer your queries which arouse in last one year. As you all know that one year of my father's dismissal is going to complete after two days and with this I'm completing my father's last wish. My father took a promise from me that gave me only one year to bring back the reputation and fame of his company and after that only we can disclose his will to rest of the world. So now when I have fulfilled his promise in last year, I'm here to tell you all about his wish and will both. If it will be accepted then good and if not then everything will be distributed in our different orphanage, NGO and ashrams. So now Raghu uncle, our lawyer will tell you the will.

Raghu - Good afternoon to all. According to the will of Mr Vishvanathan Iyer, he divided his all properties, assets and business in four but unequal parts. First part is the absolutely half of all his possessions which includes this mansion and 50 percent partnership in business along with other things and Mr Iyer gave this first part to….. (All were curious to know but were confident also that it must be Ishita but got shocked listening to him)....to his best friend.... Mr Om Prakash Bhalla and his family. (All eyes were on Ishita who was just smiling from the beginning without any sign of sadness) Now the second part, which is the half of his remaining possessions including one house and 25 percent partnership in business along with other things and he gave this part to …. (He became emotional while speaking and stopped but Ishita kept her hand on his hand and pressed her eyes with a smile and he continued) …..he gave this to his another best friend Raghu Nath that is me…. (All were completely shocked) ….Now the rest of the possessions are divided into two halves including one house and 12.5 percent partnership in business each along with other things and he gave these two equal parts to his adopted son, Mihir and…. his daughter, Ishita Iyer. As Ishita was signed as CEO of the company on a five year contract two years back so she will be continuing to be CEO for another three years and Mihir will continue to work under Ishita as per his own will. Now I will welcome the new MD….

I - Sorry to interrupt uncle but let me do this honour as the CEO of the Iyer group of companies.

Raghu permitted while Ishita stood from her seat and her manager gave her a bouquet of flowers.

I - So everyone please welcome the new MD of Iyer group of companies with a big round of applause. He is none other than Mr… Raman Kumar Bhalla.

She said turning to him with a smile making everyone shocked especially Bhallas.

I - I, Ishita Iyer, CEO of the company welcome you to the company… MD Sir.

She said forwarding the bouquet while he was shocked to respond.

I - Please accept it Sir.

She said making him to take the bouquet then both sat again and Ishita asked the media to ask their questions now. Initially they were too shocked to say anything but slowly they started asking.

Media 1- Miss Ishita, Are you angry on your father for giving you only 12.5 percent share?

Ishita (smiles) - I know you will not believe me but it's true that whatever my father gave to me, I'm happy with it. I can never be angry on my father. He gave me everything till now. I don't have any complaints.

Media 2- But still Miss Iyer, don't you think that he was partial towards you because he gave a big part to his friend who was not in contact with him from so many years?

I - Who told you that they were not in contact? They were always together in their thoughts and hearts, it didn't matter that they were far physically. My father always talked about his two best friends. He was full of their thoughts only. I had seen my mother getting jealous that he cares for his friends more than us but she always respect and adored their friendship cum brotherhood. Same with me, yes I was hurt when my father took his friends' names in his last breath…. (Her eyes got teary and voice choked but she composed herself and continued with smiling face).. but I respect him. I learned the true friendship meaning from him….

Media 3- But Miss Iyer, it would look good if he didn't have any hier but he had his daughter…..

I - I want to ask a question to all of you. Is it important that only the children or the family should be the hier? (None answer ) - Ok let me answer it. I'm proud of my father for his decision. What's wrong if he felt that I'm not capable for his all possessions alone and he distributed it. He was not even partial with me as he gave me some share. And I very well know that if he would have just gave me everything then also you people would not let him to go peacefully like now.

Media 4 - Did you ever feel that it was your right…..

I (interrupting) - I would like to say only one thing which can silent you all… may be.. My father taught me to get the things by my own hard work and capabilities not just by my father's name. You remember or not I don't know but I started my career as Ishita Iyer not as Vishvanathan Iyer’s daughter and I was chosen as CEO by the employee of our company not my father. I reached here with my hard work and my father's and uncle's support and love. My father never gave me a luxurious and easy life so that I will be strong enough to earn and stand for myself that I'm right now. My father's best friends are the most deserving. Even if my father wouldn't have given this much to me then also I would have been happy. Now please ask any other type of questions otherwise we can end this PC here only as I can't hear anymore things against my father.

Media - What do you want to say on Raman Kumar Bhalla as the MD of your company when he has more experienced years than you but he is less successful than you till now?

I - Again it was completely my father's choice and trust. If he took this big step then he had faith on Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla’s capabilities and his friend's upbringing. And I trust my father. So I'm sure our new MD will prove himself.

Media - Miss Iyer, is it possible that your father chose Mr Raman Kumar Bhalla as MD and his son in law?? That is why you are denying for every marriage proposals from last one year.

I - Truly speaking, my father never told me if he had chosen anyone for me but he always asked me if I had chosen anyone. Now no more personal questions.

Soon Press conference ended and all left except Bhallas and Sinhas.
