babita is clearly scared , & her mind directly lands on one thing that is HS's feelings towards her .

if its true what is being shown in recap of tomorrow , then offcourse its the fear back in her , hence this disapproval to his gifts even to mini because all these things will now directly be associated to his newfound feelings towards her .

she is yet to fully realize the devotion of HS , she knows his doings , how far he has gone for their sake & she cannot respond to his affections with kind . though she has no control on the feelings & emotion but she definitely wants to draw a line on material things so that no further unintentional bubble gets created .

also it can be embarrassing for her as well , so much kindness from this man even after her flat turndown it just does not feel right to accept those pricey gifts .

Babes considers HS a friend so when he helps her out she takes his help as a friend.

Accepting a small gift in friendship is ok but HS forgoing his share and her accepting it would be worse. It would send the wrong or mixed signals.

She knows that HS has a heart of gold but by allowing HS to buy expensive things for Mini, she is giving mixed signals again. What does their relationship become? She may be afraid that this may become a habit. In the past she relied on Ashoks salary for her and her daughters needs. Now it may feel she is relying on HS.

I love HS and don’t doubt his intentions and love the fact he got Mini the lens. However I also see Babes point of view as well. She is fighting for her independence and wants to prove she can provide for herself. It’s the context that matters... had babes been able to afford it and HS got it as a bday present for Mini then maybe it would be ok. However HS got it cause he knows Babes is under financial strain .. it’s a dad/parental move and he isn’t her parent

I was happy with Cvs for Babita's character growth (specially in Monday's episode)...Even in yesterday's episode HS and Babes are behaving like always which I liked the most..(though Babita is not comfortable when they were alone) Precap is disappointing for me too..I don't want this type of drama like other shows after she came to know about HS feelings...

But have to wait for the episode to where this leads to.. we can take it in two perspective...One is Babita's fear of attaching with HS whenever she is in problem..Another is she always told that she should make mini proud...When mini needs something , before her HS gave the gift...So she may think that she is not capable of fulfilling Mini's needs...

She will feel this fear until she accepts HS Atleast as a friend more than a landlord...It will lead to burst out and it results in HS heart break...I don't want that to happen...

I do agree with many of you about sudden change in Babitas behavior..but I see it differently

Well from the very beginning Babita has always been very clear about not trying to get any monetary gifts from anyone ( Be it about money for business, Minnie education, collateral from Naimbee,etc). She is atleast now okay with all affection HS has for Minnie and she respects that. Even during the track where she takes him with her for Minnie, she took him along as she very well understood the care HS has for Minnie.

But about his gift which is VERY EXPENSIVE ONE (cameras are expensive and even Minnie mentioned that in yesterday's episode) Babita both as a mother and as a person is bound to draw a line between Minnie and HS. Even when they were really short of money (HS kept money in Minnie's jeans) she refrained from asking money from HS even when he offered help,so I don't see this as a drastic change in her character potrayal. Don't our parents tell us not to accept very expensive gifts from evem close relatives as howuch ever we decline there always has to be a limit in materialistic things atleast. Also Babita as a mother has to teach this to Minnie.

Yes I do agree HS gift is out of pure love and care for Minnie but again after his proposal Babita has to set a line again. She has never stopped HS in his emotional support for Minnie (exceptvin that jealousy track after which she understood) but again about materialistic things it is always considered to be parents arena. And B for a fact realizes that maybe HS is trying to get into father's shoes for Minnie which is not really easy to accept so fast when he has already proposed to her indirectly ,so she has to make sure he does not hurt himself too.Yes she was a bit loud though in expressing things which is may be because of her fears for now relating to HS.
