Salman Khan suggests alternative career for Katrina Kaif

She should marry and produce kids

When Salman Khan was asked about an alternative career for his Bharat co-star Katrina Kaif, the 53-year-old did not pick up any profession. Instead, he said that Katrina Kaif should settle down and start a family.

In a recent interview, Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor was asked if Katrina wasn't an actor, what would she be? To which, Salman replied, "She should be married and produce children."

A startled Katrina intervened and explained the question to Salman again saying that the interviewer is asking about a profession. But Salman stuck to his answer and insisted that marriage and kids also require a lot of effort.

Recently on Arbaaz Khan's chat show, Katrina was asked about her wedding plan. Bollywood's Chikni Chameli had said, "No clue. I am taking one day at a time. Life is unpredictable. We don't know what happens." However, she added that she believes in the institution of marriage.

On the work front, Katrina Kaif is busy with the promotions of her upcoming film Bharat. The film brings back the hit jodi of Salman and Katrina. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Bharat is an official remake of Korean film, An Ode To My Father. It depicts the history of India through the life of an ordinary man.

The film, which also stars Disha Patani, Jackie Shroff and Tabu, is set to hit the screens on June 5
