Doesn’t have to follow previous season. Reimagination means a new storyline not like the previous one. Komo and Scooter can be annoyances from the outside but not within the walls of Basu house with AnuPre.

Chances are a Mohini could join Scooter and become a backstabber of her own son and his happiness. If so Moloy needs to distance her from her family for her traitorous behavior.
