Today I am so happy not only for my new dance choreography hit but for her also, yeah now I am waiting for her to confess my feelings. In these 5 minutes I feel like 5 years. I saw her first time when she fighting with my classmate for her new pen, I snatched that pen from that boy and returned to her. Her chachi works in our house. Every evening her chachi bring her to our house. Whenever she sees me, she smiles. If I join any competitions, she will be there to cheer me. I just think that is infatuation. She is cute and chubby and my junior in college. My friends always tease me using her name. unlike me she is brilliant in studies. She is the one who wrote my records for lab. Even my homework. I call her every time Mottu she calls me Patlu. My motto in life to become a dancer; dancing is my passion & studying is not my cup of tea. During my friend’s sister wedding I met Deepthi. She has the same passion like me in dancing. We talk, we practice, we dance together. We are practicing for inter college competitions. I noticed these days she is missing: Yes, Mehak is missing. I thought of calling her number, after that I saw Mehak in canteen. “Hey Mehak, come here, have a seat”. Deepthi comes and sat beside me, I saw her face become dull and sad. She walked away from me. Me and Deepthi combo won the college competitions.
I reached my home I saw a flower bouquet with a note “Congratulations Dear Shaurya”. I understood that bouquet sent by none other than Mehak. My father didn’t like the idea of mine to start a new team for dancing. We slowly start getting recognition for our work. We worked for making unique dancing style for featuring our dance videos. I saw some of the posters and banner saying Deepthi and some members of our team in another dance group. I do not know what to do, according to sponsors she is lucky charm for our dance team. I consider her as a friend but that Deepthi and other members betrayed me. They fixed their video releasing date before us. After that news came sponsor are left. Around 3days I stayed in my room only. I don’t want to be a loser in front of my father and the society. My mom requests me too eats food, I refused her. When I woke up, I saw Mehak sitting in front of me in a chair holding a plate. I asked her what are you doing here, she said first eat I will tell later. When I refuse, she forcibly feed spoon full of rice in my mouth. Mehak said, “Shaurya, why are you punishing yourself and the people who loves you? He kept mum. Mehak continued, why are you sad because that chipkali and other left you or they copied your style of dancing?
Remember one thing people may copy your work but not the talent and your ability. He suddenly asked Mehak, Mehak would you like to my new partner in dance, without any hesitation she answered yes. They started to practice dance every morning and evening. Mehak asked her friends for money for their dancing other side Shaurya arranged money for camera and editing works. At beginning Mehak struggled a lot to learn after that she learned like a pro. Mehak writing her final exams, I advised her to study and no more practice until her exams finish. She is not an early riser, so I made tea for her to study at night. We are become supporting system for each other. Mehak chachi and my mother even I know Mehak had a crush on me before and now I know she loves me. She may not say those 3 words but her every action conveys her love for me.
I learned how to be patience from her. And now I do not care about success or failure I care for my loved ones and my work. Me and Mehak combo featuring a dance video become a huge hit and crossed million views. Mehak want to thank god for our success. I dropped her near temple. I wait for her outside. When she returned from temple. I arranged a simple dinner at my garden area. And she came, my heart skips a beat when I saw her in a Saree. I proposed her with a butterscotch ice-cream because she loves it. I said to her “I Love You Mehak”, do you love me? Mehak told I love someone else, I become shattered hearing her and said who? She answered My Patlu aka Shaurya with laughing. Mehak you scared me, you Mottu give me back my ice cream and Mehak showed her tongue saying I don’t give it to you the ice cream is mine and you too Shaurya.
