Abir too has issues

Am i the only one here who is in the minority

Earlier i had made a post if he has no guts. Alright when it comes to someone other than himself he is a knight in some shining armour ?

However when it comes to his life, choices to be made or managing situations where Abir Rajvansh is involved , this man has serious life management issues

Come on, Abir fights with his mom for the tinest things but then what does he do, runs away. Alright running ngos is his Actual job profile but apart from just going away like a nomad, it is very obvious that half of the time this guy has left home in a tiff.

Similarly , rishta exchange , scheduling dates for his bro, allowing him to take credit, finally asking kunal if he loves Mishti ( and the answer is no), then putting words in Mishti's mouth for going ahead with the engagement. What type of abla male is he. Is he killing two birds with one stone or throwing stones on himself

He loves Mishti but in a catch 22 situation he runs away and this where the story needs support. 50 episodes will soon be done with but Abir is still is an enigma.

Was his father like this ? Or circumstances made him the way he is now

Shaheer told in a iv that they are trying to establish characters , fair enough and writers are keeping certain facts, agreed.

They also need to know inorder to evolve a character who has issues, past history should be on parallel lines.

I do not blame kunal if he behaves like this. He is a successful business man and biz men cannot make money by following Gandhiji

Kunal is manipulative, he changes the tide to suit himself. The only person whom he fell in love with left him or they broke up so Mishti is a responsibility and at the same time he thinks that like a potter she can be moulded to his needs.

but Abir is not perfect, a man with lot of baggage. He cannot face this new found love and nanu is interfering, trying to get him to claim his love

Sorry he may not be entirely off with zosh but what i see is this character is handing over his future to his brother.

so both Rajvansh brothers have issues. No one os better than the other.

yeah right he has issues. Far from perfect. he doesn't well complicated situations well as its been mentioned.

He actually needs someone too to make him face situations head on. So far there is no anchor for him to hold onto. Nothing that keeps him grounded.

How do i explain this? Mishti and Kunal can actually work and you can see hundreds or maybe thousands of relationships like them , loveless, full of obligations. They work according to society norms but is not a happy one.

whereas Mishti and Abir could have a happy one, where they cherish each other. Only if the characters can realize this sooner but that is the part of the journey.

Yes, he does have issues. Just that Abir's issues affect only him and not others, unlike Meenakshi or Kunal.

He is a lonely escapist who avoids confronting his own feelings for the sake of not rocking the boat. He is selfless to the point of being self-destructive. I admire selfless people a lot however, in TV shows, they show these selfless people as dumbos who will destroy themselves and others for a certain few. In this case, Abir is willing to sacrifice himself and others for the Kunal-Meenakshi show.

He is not thinking about how Mishti will deal with Meenakshi and Kunal post marriage, when he is not there to handhold Kunal through it. Is it fair to let Mishti marry Kunal when he is not the person she thinks he is? Is it fair to throw Mishti in Meenakshi's path? Granted, he thinks Kunal is a good guy but there is bias there 'cause he is his brother. He thinks Kunal's issues can be ironed out post marriage but that is incorrect.
