@it’s called Instagram influencers. The current marketing phenomena.
How does anyone ever know it converts into sales. - pretty easy ,actually. But I will give you a very amusing example, one that might even please you - https://www.wedmegood.com/blog/this-bride-recreated-bollywood-celebrity-bridal-outfits-at-her-own-wedding-and-we-dont-know-how-to-react/ people on sns who spends hours and hours defending their fav might not buy the couture piece but a perfume is pretty reach.
Why do you think stars release their own photos on insta , if they are not aware of sns tractions.
To me, I find each of the girl targets a different audience and hence associate with brands that best align with their strategies. Sonam is doing something right since she has repped some big names at Cannes -JPG, ESaab at it’s height , D&G (even if I hate them) ..and now Valentino, none of the girls pulled that card for their insta feed.
Haha, sorry, perfume is pretty affordable even if it is Chopard. Not the first time India has seen a high end perfume launched. Don’t worry , the perfume too will tinkle down on the feeds of desi influencers in a month or two, that is how cycle works in India. Also, surveys are outdated marketing technique and irrelevant for a perfume product.
