Alia would have made it on her own DESPITE debuting with Dharma - Page 4

She probably would have made it even if she debuted from other banner but she would have to work lot harder before she got a movie like Raazi. She would have also been lot more mature by now 😒 Why is your fandom is constantly in denial about Aloo's privileges? If Karan calling Zoya on Aloo's behalf doesn't make people realize the kind of privilege she got, then idk what to say 🤷🏻‍♀️

I dont represent alia's entire fandom :)I am reasonable to hear out inputs on her privelgee as long its intention is made not to just attack or just hate on her for the sake of it b/c i dont defend it, I try to understand it. thanks for your opinion!

the longer the posts the better :) I create this thread for a reason, to get opinions and debate. I am her "fan" and suppport her as an actress, but also not getting upset by remarks/ opinions against her. i like too hear inputs

But then how do we know that these big films wanted them for herself? HEr big films being RRR, and inshallah I suspect you are referring to? Is it a hard to believe thing that she is the first choice for these films? her success rate is the highest among actress, not even the new ones, but all of them. So I am just not sure where people get the idea that she would not be approached for a SLB film. Karan cant make a director cast her? so where do people get these ideas..im curiouss to know.

wanting someone to be auditioned for-I totally get that because it opens up to more talent and is overall so much more fair. and im sure there would be someone more suitable for the role. But do directors/producers think this way when casting? if they dont, then are opinions on how casting should happen dont matter. when choosing from the lot of actresses, I just dont see how Alia is not the first choice again for these films.

I will not include Brahmastra, and Sadak 2 among her grabbing films-b/c her being a dharma girl as well as daughter of mahesh bhatt means she would have always gotten those films.-and yes I agree that is her privelege at play

When you can call up an Abhi Varman and force him to cast you in the film or ask Papa to call up Zoya and speak on your behalf cause you feel Zoya dislikes you, you show yourself to be nothing but a pampered brat who has not faced an iota of struggle even in comparison to other nepo kids.
