Thanks!! :) Pleasure writing in.

Yes, the highlight of the episode was Shaheer without a doubt. The thing with GOOD emotional scenes is it's not just about delivering the lines correctly or doing what you think would be context-appropriate. One part of executing them is technical expertise which a lot of actors possess but fewer get the rawness right- it's that inexplicable quality that tugs at your heart strings. I am not much of a mushy fangirl either but he really aced it, hence I have to say it. It really seemed like he was living the character. He made you FEEL that Abir loves Mishti and not just THINK it. I loved the peace that spread across his face as he said 'I love you, Mishti'- like he attained salvation.

Like he attained salvation! I completely agree. He tugged at the heartstrings today!!

Mishti's reaction- You said it, sister. I think you should write for the show and not these dumbos lol. Maybe it could have been a simple scene where Mishti thanks Kunal and everyone is gathered around them but her eyes search for Abir and are fixed on him when they do find him. It's amazing how she went from risking her life for a painting she thought was important to Abir to totally forgetting him once she came out. You are not Ghajini, she is. 😆

Maybe the writers will have something on monday.theh better do. Or I will always hold this scene against them.

Badi Maa- I feel bad for the actress 'cause as you said, she is not bad otherwise. I don't recall her being this neurotic on YRKKH.

Oh yes, she was. During Akshara's pregnancy track she was incorrigible, to even Me, as a viewer. She would call her SaaS multiple times a day and ask what's up with Akshara. :D and get hyper at little little things

Meenakshi- I feel her dialogue about 'woh bhi uss ladki ke liye' meant that more than being angry with Abir and Kunal's actions, she was angry 'cause she feels Mishti is undeserving of it. That is so cruel to think when an innocent girl is stuck inside a burning building. Who is she to decide that Mishti is not 'worth saving'?

No I meant she would still be saying this dialogue if it was any girl, even is the girl was selected by her. She is a sorry excuse for a mother and let's not even talk about SaaS.

KuKu- So agree. They are amazing together and it's sad that the writers are not utilising their dynamic and chemistry. I think you're right, they will have Kunal and Mishti realise their feelings post the engagement because otherwise how will there be drama? The realisation will come at the mandap and then they will do rishta exchange once again and everyone will smile as if nothing happened. Nanu will say 'Chalo, ant bhala toh sab bhala'.

Oh god this grosses me out - how can the writers justify this by saying they were never in love so it's ok to fall for ex-fiances brother/sister. Ewwwwwwwww. And do they think the audience is going to be ok with that. They better stop this stupid courtship thing before the engagement.

I have seen clips on YT about being a love triangle. Better not be. Or I'll be done with the show..

Well, hope springs eternal. 😉 I agree. They should come up with something nice for Monday.

Badi Maa- Oh okay lol. I haven't watched the show at a stretch 'cause who could? Toh yeh badi maa ki purani aadat hai. Koi Badi Maa koi batao ki buri aadatein tyagne mein koi burai nahi. 😛

Rishta Exchange- Yes, it is utterly disgusting and I hope the writers realise that the general TRP audience will not like it if they show this BIL-SIL romance. It's very unsanskari and I hope it works in our favour. Love triangle- Couldn't they find anyone but Abir's brother for that? They are taking the phrase 'keeping it in the family' to another level.

You just said what I wanted to . I cannot overlook the last dialogue of Mishti which spoilt the whole essence of the Mishbir scene .Mishti was wide awake when she saw Abir trying to save her ..before closing her eyes the last person she saw was Abir but in the end she thanked Kunal and forgot about Abir . What kind of logic is that

Secondly when Bade papa was thanking Kunal he stood silent without letting them know that it was Abir who saved Mishti . There is definitely some major loopholes in the story which is making the characterization inconsistent.

Lastly I cannot see Mishbir and KuKu coming together after the engagement...it is morally wrong . They should not have got kusthi engaged if they wanted to show Mishbir and KuKu .

But somehow I found this Abeer's credit leaving habit wrong. I mean he by helping Kunal or giving him all the credit like in hospital, is presenting an image of Kunal which actually is not present . I get it that he his helping his brother and all but there should be a limit. He should let Misthti know the real Kunal not the Kunal he presents . And then let her decide whether she wants to go ahead with this relation or not.

And ofcourse Kunal must stop taking all the credit eachtime .

Exactly. This is like the CVs did something good and then pressed the undo button. Mishti's last dialogue was not only illogical but also irritating. How did she totally forget about Abir? Especially 'cause she went inside to save his goddamn painting and then they had a 5 min long conversation in the midst of the fire.

I find it difficult to forgive such lapses on the part of the writers. You can only tolerate this kind of inconsistency for so long. Chemistry between characters rarely makes up for shoddy writing.

Kunal should definitely tell them it was Abir. I am sure Mishti or Badi Maa will bring it up. Let's see how Kunal handles it.

@bold- As I said, sanskari Rajan Shahi doing totally asanskari things. It's highly off putting.

Me too. You can tutor a student before their exams all you want but you cannot write the exam for them. Unwittingly, he is making Mishti like Kunal for who he is not. Is that not unfair to Mishti? What if she does get married to Kunal and then she sees who he really is?

Haha well Kunal has never needed any reason to say no. He has made it clear that he will marry who his mother tells him to marry. After the Shweta experience, he has disengaged himself from any interactions with girls which is why he is not interested in getting to know Mishti. He thinks it is enough if their families approve and if Mishti seems nice. Compatibility is not on his mind at all, let alone love. For him, marriage is yet another duty he must perform.

Duty?? Is he from this century? Is he a king who would have to show up socially together on social events and would have to perform husbandly duties when required? OMG I know he isn't ready for marriage , and he should say so. Doesn't he realize this?

so it is Abir's fault really and its coming to bite him where sun doesn't shine. I know , i know story start na hoti otherwise but my shipper heart is unable to take it.

@bold- He thinks so 😆 Meenu also thinks her beta is a raja.

He does not realise he is not ready for marriage 'cause in his mind it's something he HAS to do for his family and society. It's an obligation for him toh ready hone na hone se usko farak nahi padta. There are a lot of people in this century who still marriage is a 'duty'. 😲 Especially those who feel that they have to marry someone their family has chosen for them. They think 'how does it matter what I want if I have to marry someone my family likes anyway?'

Arre it's totally okay to dislike this weird dynamic they are pushing. The story could have started in many other ways. Just have Meenakshi be the villain in their story without switching the couples. She could have plotted against KuKu and MishBir but nahi, CVs ko raita failana tha.
