Article Hina Khan bashed by renowned personality for her Cannes look

Hina becomes one of the few faces to have been present at Cannes besides Avika Gor and Manish Raisinghan in the past as well as Krushna Abhishek and wife Kashmira Shah this year.

Buzz has been quite in favor of Hina as critics have loved Hina's red carpet look and of course fans have been praising her as well. However what came as a surprise was the comment of Jitesh Pillai, the editor of a leading Bollywood magazine. Jitesh put up a picture of Hina on his Instagram story saying, "Cannes has suddenly become Chandivali Studios Kya?."

Jitesh's comment on Hina Khan targeting on television shooting studio hinted his views on Television actors making an appearance on an international platform.

Jitesh's comment has not gone down well with fans who have been trolling him left right and center on all his social platforms as well as on our Forum.

I dislike Komolika's clothes but Hina has always had a good fashion sense .

I think she looks amazing in this dress. And it was mean of him to say that. I am not sure if he has issue with her dress or with the fact that TV actors are representing our country at Cannes

Hina is looking good but i personally feel.she is.not that big a celeb to be walking the cannes red.carpet. may be she got bashed for that and not her dress which was btw ravishing and she looked great in it too..she has just done one and a half serial and a reality show. How is she bigger than any bollywood celeb..

But who decides who is a big enough star to walk. Fulmfare? She had a movie the producers wants to release in Cannes their choice. Why should the elite mock her for it?

Lol and his half assed apology. Who is he kidding, everyone who follows bollywood knows what a prick he is. And at least Hina went for her film. Not only her but there have been other tv actors who have went to Cannes for their films. This is the reason why I want Indian tv to produce more good shows because of the notion that every Indian tv show is trash, tv actors don’t get much respect either. Heck even Pakistani tv actors get more respect. In many other countries the content gap between Movies and Tv isn’t even there due to the fact that their tv shows have just as good or even better content than movies. Once Indian Tv channels start focusing on content driven shows, people will start respecting tv and the actors who act in them. Cause it’s sad that many Indian tv actors don’t even bother watching their own shows knowing how bad they are.

Well i have no idea who decides. Thats what i am wondering. Of couse tv industry and stars are equally respectable and mr pillai has no business to mock them like this with his crass comments..and as an editor of a prestigious magazine he shouldnt be talking rubbish. ..i was only confused that hina is supposedly there to promote her film with vikram.bhatt which hasnt even started ..few years back only aishwarya was invited to the cannes ..i have literally no idea whats the basis now or what was the basis then...i was only asking....i thought its an international "film" festival...if thats the case , there are plenty of hard working population out there on tv who should be considered too..i am happy for hina though . She killed the look and her comment bk on mr pillai..😊
