Tbh soty2 looked like it was made to be bad from the first look itself. Even the songs are not good even though dharma always gives best music.

Nor was Tiger the Tiger of Baghi 2, when it was announced.

1. He tried to use Tiger and his fanbase to establish Ananya.. another nepo kid.. and to also make Alia part of this and present this movie as 'another success due to Alia'.

2. Don't you find it interesting- before the film release.. we hear that even Tiger and Madhuri think 'Alia dances better than them' , 'Alia does' this and that in SOTY 2 ..so on and so forth articles...There were tons of articles about Alia and SOTY 2 ( so much so that it looked she had a major part !) and Alia song was released with fanfare- in a Tiger movie!- .. but after the film flopping there NO NEWS on ALIA being A PART OF SOTY2.

**I bet if SOTY2 was successful, KJo and Alia would have have sent articles around on how 'Alia's contribution made SOTY2 a success'

Now that Kalank and SOTY 2 crashed...on both occasions they try make EVERYONE forget Alia was part of them... and now news concentrate on ONLY Tiger, Ananya and Tara.

And BTW .. the budget of this movie keeps shrinking like Manikarnika's .. from 80-100 to 70-80 and now , 60.. oh the desperation!🤣

Yes. It is a secret but in reality, Karan Johar hates making money. He absolutely loathes having hit movies. So he just makes movies that flop, completely intentionally to sabotage everyone's careers.

Eh, the first movie was awful to look at as well. I remember everyone making fun of it and predicting it would be a flop when the trailer came out but audience lapped that crap up. I can see why the makers thought this would work.
