Part 1
Bela hugs Naina. Sameer and Chachaji help arrange boxes. Sameer-Naina look at the bungalow. BG- Aane wala pal jane wala hai. Sameer tells Naina that one day he will build a bigger bungalow than this. Rakesh calls Munna-Pandit to help arrange the boxes. Munna assures that he will put up the poster of Sameer’s first movie on the bungalow. Rakesh says lot of timefor him being celebrity but no time to catch train rush. Bela requests Rakesh not to trouble the kids in Mumbai. Rakesh says yes and then fumes. Rakesh asks for keys. Sameer says gave it to Chachaji. Chachaji says to Bela. Bela says to Pandit. Pandit says to Munna. Munna says to Rakesh. All fight.
Narrator –This is the problem of my life. In Mumbai I did have salty father in law but no one balancing sweetness.
Rakesh says rush, Tempo will reach first. Sameer and Rakesh argue. Chachaji intervenes. Sameer leaves sadly looking back at the mansion. BG – Raheemen ye reet re. All reach the Ahmedabad Railway Station. Sameer asks Naina if she wants tea. She nods a no. A seller shows her magazines, she says no. A fellow passenger comes and asks so much luggage, shifting house? Sameer says yes. Naina looks back at the station.
Narrator –That day I din leave behind the city but left behind 21 years of my life, myown, my memories. Ahmedabad was not just a city, it was my identity. I never knew that to make a new identity, I did have to leave my old identity behind.
Sameer comes and reassures Naina, he says I agree that Ahmedabad is left behind butlook forward, a new city is waiting for us. He says you have been in Ahmedabad forever but I have changed cities all the time and every time something good happened.Never fear what lies ahead. Sameer kisses Nainas hand. BG- Ye Mumbai shaher hadso ka shaher hai. Ticket checker comes.
Narrator –Did this song play for a reason? What do you think.
Ticketchecker checks their ticket. The other passenger offers them food but they say thanks. Sameer puts music on. BG – Akele hain .Sameer-Naina eyelocks. They hold hands. The announcements for Mumbai begin. Sameer wakes up Naina. She trips while getting down and Sameer holds Naina in his arms. Sameer teases saying that the moment Mumbai came, you slipped into my arms. Go change.
Sameer gets down on the platform and Naina joins him. Naina recollects Chachajis words. Counts bags. Sameer says look Mumbai Central. The duo head to the station masters office. Naina sees a weighing machine and wants a coin to measure her weight and see the future.
Narrator –Those days weighing machine would tell you future and weight together at 50 paise. Today people decide future internally.
The duo read their future that says your future will change and you will have a new identity.A coolie comes and asks to take the luggage. Sameer agrees. Naina recollects Chachajis advice. She asks for rates. The coolie says no bargains here, flat Rs. 100. The coolie asks Sameer if he came to become hero? Sameer says how did you know. The coolie says every train has 5 actor dreamers and 4 return.
Narrator –Coolie carried the weight on his head but I got weighed down by his words.
Rakesh argues with tempo driver for slow driving.
Narrator –Mumbai, the city of dream, big dreams. Every road meets a new road. Sameer-Naina are staring at the surroundings. Here one thing is common. Courage and hopes unlimited. City had sea but is sea of dreams.
Sameer –Naina at the beach and hold hands. Naina throws a conch shell.
Sameer wants to go to the sea but Naina stops. Sameer pulls her close. Naina says dad. Naina says he must be waiting. Rakesh fights with tempo driver and refers to Ahmedabad. Driver says this is Mumbai. No one gets in between, blabbers, or has time to waste like Ahmedabad.
A photographer asks to take Sameer-Naina pic. They agree. Naina is about to tell Ahmedabad address but stops. Sameer gives Andheri address. Rakesh fights with driver and forces him to break line. Cops stop them and chide Rakesh.

Sameer – Naina watch beach people and join a dance on Rangeela re.Taxi driver calls them out of their dream.
Part 3
Present Day, Naina - 30th October 1997, Sameer and i entered Mumbai to fulfill our dreams. Our first house. So many dreams and tears. This society was never so quiet. Kids played in the park and ladies chatted on the bench. I miss those days. New friends and fights. New story began. Sameer-Naina vs Mumbai. This is Chapter 2 of my life.
