May 14th 2019 Written Update: Akshan’s First Date & Step
Akshan Room: The Awkwardness
- AJ is going out from the room and Guddan is going into the room, both save themselves from colliding into each other. Both are hesitant, nervous and awkward they don’t know how to start the conversation. Guddan breaks the Ice saying you have to go get ready (getting dress, & planning date). Guddan says you can get ready,but AJ says it's not necessary I will go get ready in Ma’s room while you get ready in our room both are confused & don’t know how to handle the new situation. Akshan walks opposite each other Guddan going toward wardrobe &AJ heading out. Guddan stops him, calling his name Jindal Saab, AJ turns walks toward her, she asks him if he needs anything from the room but he says I will call and get someone else to bring my stuff.
- Both wonder and are confused whether if they should ask each other about the date. Guddansays hum se Na Ho Payega. Akshan have Kuch Kaha Apne, Kuch Sunao Apnemoment. AJ tells Guddan to have a good day. Guddan is playing with her pallu& fidgeting regarding her approaching date.
The Masala Moment :
- Dayan is using the Masher(wooden stick) pounding the Masala in the Okhil. She is taking her frustrating and anger on the Masala, ( which sound half empty, use Preethi or Prestige Blender with Stainless Steel Jarssaves time & energy use the medium or large jars I don’t use it for juicing)Dayan is like we have servants and have restaurant but Buaji wants Ghar KaMasala by Bahus end, she said one day if this keeps happening I will be ground like Masala. (What a Bhavishyavani, some is going to Chakki Peesing n Peesing& we are going to get such Sukoon in our Heart) Kishore comes there, but Durga says I don’t have time to talk to you. Durga talks to servant Ramesh tells him to bring stuff for Bua, Kishore comes tries to talk to her but she ignores him, takes her anger out on him, she says I don’t have time, and Kishore says I you never have time for me, angry Durga fights and leaves.
Guddan Ma’s Friendship Suggestion:Guddan comes there and advised him not to be upset on Durga’sword because she is taking care of the house, Doing Seva for Buaji taking care of house and family. (Kishore is rolling his eyes) Guddan says just like you have an outside office for the Ladies their Home is their office. Guddan suggests to Kishore being a friend to Durga and understanding her, extend the hand of friendship. Kishore agrees and smiles.
Lakshmi who is excited, n worried that her Saasuma hasn’t gotten ready for her date. Lakshmi Bahu encourages her Saasuma that Apse Sab HoPayega. Lakshmi reminds Guddan that AJhates people who come late making Gudan more nervous.
Clothes Confusion
Guddan Akshan Room
- Guddan has taken out all of her clothes & spread on the bed, deciding and confused on what to wear. She picks one outfit another is lost, thinking of what her Jindal Saab will like her to wear and keeping his: taste in mind.
- Guddan is totally confused because for her Jindal Saab she wants to be perfect because to her from top to bottom he is perfect. Guddan says she wants to make self perfect for him because you never know when he will get angry.
Dadi Room AJ
- AJ is also confused & lost, he selects 2 black shirts from the rack, asks Dadi to help him decide. Seeing her Lalla’s choice, Dadi is also confused because too her it both looks black, but AJ tells Ma its two different shades of black. (He is so cute)
- Dadi explains to her son, with your BIWI you are going on a date, not to Shok Sabha, but then AJ says that shayad Guddan doesn’t like Black
- Dadi suggests to AJ to wear good color, she says by wearingcolor, your life becomes Rangeen. AJ doesn’t like been Rangeen, he first refuses, says I don’t understand today's Generation. Dadi says wear Guddan choice of the shirt and she will be happy.
- On Dadi suggestion AJ chooses Gray suit with Rangeen shirt,he first shakes his head, goes to get ready in her bathroom. Dadi says that AJ has taken his First Step towards Pyar Ke Raaste, Dadi says I hope in Dono ke Date something Magical happens that they AKshan come closer.
Akshan Room: Meanwhile Guddan is sitting on the chaise, selecting jewelry to wear on her date. She doesn’t know what people from JindalSaab generation likes, but then she consoles her why is she in tension whenJindal Saab is her Dost, why should she have Sharam with him.
Lakshmi comes into Akshan room asks her did you buy a gift for AJ to make him feel special. Guddan is more nervous and scared because the gift added another tension besides selecting outfit & jewelry for the date.
Dadi Room Akshat Jindal comes out looking dashing in hisRangeen clothes. Dadi hugs her Lalla in excitement saying, have you selected the gift? Akshat does drama calls it Chochla of new generation! He is like where have I trapped my self into?
Mere Sawal Ka Jawab Do: When did you purchase the Rangeen gift? Did you purchase this to impress your Dost Jindal Saab?
Kishore & Durga's Room:
Durga comes, is surprised to see the decoration in her room (white & red candles, petals). She walks up to the coffee table, picks up box and opens to see the beautiful necklace, and Kishore comes says did you like it. Kishore tells Durga that Guddan Ma suggested Dosti, which Durga gets mad hearing about Dosti, n tells him I dont want this if its Guddan's idea. She angrily throws the necklace & yells at Kishore, walks off leaving him.
Final Verdict of Outfit Choice of Mr & Mrs. Jindal keeping their better halfs choice in mind.
Date Venue: Guddan with her gift reaches there is surprised to see the beautiful decoration, she doubts if her Jindal Saab didnt it or not. Because how can a boring person plan something grand.
AJ comes there with his eyes checks his Mrs. Out without saying extends his he guides her to the table, pulls a chair out for her. Both are nervous and loss at what to say to each other.
Guudan Gift: At the same time both hand out each other gift. Guddan hands her gift first to AJ. AJ opens n laughs at the Book he received from wifey, Guddan says your generation reads book na that what I saw in the film and you love to read books.
Akshats Gift: A hand is gift to Guddan who was excited, but her expression changed into shock, full on Patni wala Gussa on her Pati for not understanding her. She questions AJ do I look like a person who pouts and be on social media all the time.
AJ and Guddan have a Kitpit and complain to each other how stress out they were about getting ready for their date because they didnt understand the opposite parties generation.
Guddan is about to leave but her pallu gets stuck on the nail of the tent. She turns around and tells her Jindal Saab that we are like a thread where the two ends cannot meet. She is about to go but the thread gets stuck on his ring
AJ says Mahana we are like a thread, but if we both take one step towards each other with patience and time we will be able to better understand each other( learn about liking & disliking. )

My Analysis
The Awkwardness
Indication: One of the beautiful shots of today is the collision moment both Akshan are aware of each other but they don't want to have Takkar, they are avoiding their clashes to give each other comfort. Even though Akshan has distance but with time and understanding, their distance is ending. They have only an arm's length distance. CVs answers to Main Raat Ka Lamha Tu Dhoop Sehar Hai together Dhoop & Raat coming in middle and meeting. Dhoop Light Guddan entering Akshat Jindal (Raat) room and filling with brightness, adding color in his life. No matter if AJ leaves his room walks away, but whenever he will turn, his light his wife GuddanAkshat Jindal will always be there to support him. She will come from the front to stop him from taking wrong action n question him. Or whether she will be his pillar of strength from the back and always support him. No matter how they turn or walk away from each other but they will come back to one another because Guddan Dhoop & Akshat Jindal the Raat are incomplete without each other as they are part of each other n not separate. The Masala Moment
- I am rofling seeing Durga using the Masher & Okhil, I wanted to take the Masher and hit her on the head? Last week Durga said she hasBrain! Why doesn’t she use that brain and put the masala in the Preethi, Prestige Blender? Seriously why is she fussing and complaining? Use the Okhil to break hard masala into pieces and then use Stainsteel medium or large jars to make the masala. It saves time& money. I am sure AJ being a chef should have a multiple blender in his house. There should be a separate juice maker, citrus juicer, smoothie maker, so the essence of the flavor don’t remain.
- Durga Kishore Jindal is not balancing her life and utilizing time. She herself creating Daraar in her and her husbands KishoreJindal’s marriage. Its pretty much clear Kishore Jindal is almost fed up of hisDayan Biwi for not giving him time and making excuse for household chores.
- Kishore Jindal & Guddan Ma's conversation was so sweet, n she told him how A woman's house is their OFfice.
- Also loved how Guddan gave input from her personal relationship with her Hubby regarding Dosti. Unlike his wife Kishore Jindal was open the idea in better to understand his wife.
Clothes Confusion
Guddan Akshan Room
- Notice that Guddan started selecting close around 3:50pm
- Guddan was nervous, she was fidgeting with her saree pallu, and the person always thinks of Jugaad was a loss, having a butterfly in her stomach.
- Guddan whether its first date or infinite amount, woman are always loss at words in what to wear and we never have enough clothes.
- Love how Guddan said that her Jindal saab will not like the Chamkli clothes. Like a typical wife, she was keeping the Pasand of her Husband in mind.
- Right now for Guddan her Mr. Jindal Saab her husband is perfect from top to bottom. Guddan is willingly to bring Badlav in their life by changing herself and becoming perfect for her hubby, so she can meet his expectation and match his standards. It's amazing that in Dosti stage Guddan forgetting her happiness is keeping the happiness and the choice of her Dost/ Patni in mind in order to dress up for their first date.
Dadi Room AJ
- Dadi was so cute & funny looking confused at her Lallas choice, she said that AJ is not going to funeral/mourning prayers with his wife.
- Now bothGuddan & Akshat Jindal will have to go to phase 2 of Dosti phase, learning about each others liking and disliking. It was pretty obvious that due to work, household and family responsibilities both Akshan don’t really know each other. Now the second phase will be Pati & Patni learning to adjust, understand, learn and discover about their spouse as from couple’s POV.
- It's so sweet that for his date with this wifey, even Akshat Jindal the business is taking his time out and selecting the date. He is nervous, at loss has jitters, but he wants to be perfect for her and match up to her thinking & her Generation.
- Even though Akshat Jindal is against the "New Generation" but for his wife, he is willing to go out of his comfort zone for the happiness of his wife, so at least he can make her comfortable.
Kishore & Durga's Room:
My Rants: Today I felt sorry for Durga Kishore Jindal, she is an ungrateful woman who doesn't even appreciate the efforts and the time her husband spent to make the room special for his wife. In anger, Durga is not realizing what a precious husband she is leaving behind. Her ego, her ability to not understand the importance of having Friendship in the relationship is ruining her marriage, and the coffin is getting the build up in her relationship. Daraar has started.
Guddans Gift
While selecting the gift for her hubby, Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal kept his liking that she knows of him in mind. I think she is using the Diwali wala reference where he was reading a book instead of participating in playing patka with her. So she bought him a cooking book.
Jindal Saab was nervous, seeing Biwi take out the gift. Did he think that Guddan will give a book: Understanding Millenials: A Guide to working with Todays Generation!
Wifey gave her hubby The Flavor BLBLE (the spelling is wrong the actual book is The Flavor Bible not Flavor BLBLE its on ebay & amazon)
Jindal Saab via this book your wifey is indicating that you are missing the Tadka in your life. Now she wants to help you add the missing Flavor in your life. Let's start with room decoration.
Look at the smile on Jindal Saab face, laughing at his nervous wife and her effort. Jindal Saab you are her first and her last Man in her life. You are her first official Male friend, her first Date, her Soulmate and Her Love, and the person who makes her feel Ajeeb and have butterflies in her stomach.
Jindal Saab I cannot wait for you to cook food for your wife using recipes from "the flavor bible" it will be fun to see you teaching her cooking. She gave you the book so you can use all the Summer Vegetables too.
Akshat Jindal Gift

I hope Guddan tell this story to her Lakshmi Bahu, her children and grandkids, and taunts Jindal Saab for the rest of his life.
Jindal Saab gave Guddan the selfie-stick because he noticed how she was taking selfies on their Goa trip. Aww poor guy was longing to be within the pictures with his wifey. Now his wifey doesn't have any excuses not to exclude him.
Also the Parya Mard can be alerted and made aware that Mrs. Guddan Akshat Jindal is taken, and dont you dare think about flirting with her because she has 6ft 3 inches of Angry Bhabubali who will not be scared of beating anyone up.
I loved that angry look he was giving to the camera like he wanted to smash the phone. How dare his Wifey gives attention to him, not a puppy to her Jindal Saab.
Love the Bharas the Mrs. Guddan Akshat jindal the wife took out on her husband for not understanding her. After marriage who takes tons of selfies. Guddan priority has changed JIndal Saab. Her number one priority is you, her life revolves around you although you are two but to her you are part of her you are her breath and heart beat.

Love the complaint and how Akshan together told their better half how stress out they were for their first date, and how much effort they took to impress the other.
Guddan Jindal took four hours to get ready and select the saree for her Jindal Saab, which he will like. I want you to give your wifey a compliment jindal Saab she deserves it na.
Even in the argument, Guddan gave her Jindal Saab compliment that Rangeen color looks good on him.
