I know as writers for Indian TV you are at the mercy of TRP and decision are taken by the production house on a short term basis rather than long term. I get that not everything is in your control. There are one thing that have been obvious for some time now - the overwhelming popularity of the Parica pairing and anurag and prerna as a couple. So if this is and was he case then, can you please explain to me:
(1) why you brought vikrant as an enemy of both anurag and Komolika and then suddenly changed him to an enemy of just Komolika with absolutely no problem with anurag?
(2) how did prerna go from a simple college girl with no interest in economics other than to help her Baba into a sharp business mind?
(3) how can you both show that anurag have a society wedding with Komolika which came in the newspapers etc and also show that prerna arrest was done in full view of reporters but then tapur’s prospective in-laws who are are good family friends know nothing about anything?
(4) I know everyone is going gaga about anurag supposed 10 par dialogue from yesterday but personally I found it a long set of inconsistencies which I put fully at your feet. He started out by saying prerna loved him but now hates him and he said I know she has never been able to stop loving me. He said she always wants to show me neecha in business (a revelation in itself because as far as we know she just got out of jail and started planning the first issue of a magazine) and in almost the very next line said she’s never done anything to harm this family.
(5) to be honest I did like the neutral “why do we always blame women” lines but put in the context of anurag never ever openly admitting that he loves prerna or cannot look at anyone beyond her, it was just anther slap in the face of the eternal love story that you are writing.
(6) we have put up with weeks of anurag showing prerna he doesn’t love her and wants to be with Komolika, including touching her, going for a honeymoon, telling prerna the white thread is special because of Komolika rather than her etc while also showing he giving her mixed messages. Now finally on the hospital scene you showed him tell her he loves her and admit to his father that he loves her and is happy about being married to her even though it happened unintentionally. THEN WHY THE HELL IS HE STILL WEARING KOMOLIKA’S RING? When he beats about vikrant for going near prerna or pins prerna against the door to prove she lives him, do you appreciate what an eyesore and hypocritical symbol that ring is that he still wears as a sign of his commitment to Komolika?
I know we live in times when even humongous budget game of thrones has wrongly placed starbucks cups, but you really need to get your act together and plan your story better. We all love anurag and prerna and Erica and Parth are doing a tremendous job but we also have limits to how much we can shut the intelligence of our brain!
