Despite mixed review, Student of The Year 2 saw decent opening

One of the most anticipated movies of Tiger Shroff, Student of The Year 2 hit the theatre on 10th May, 2019. The film starring Tiger Shroff, debutants Ananya Panday and Tara Sutaria received Mixed Review from critics. It opened with 25 to 30 % occupancy across India.

Student of The Year 2 saw decent opening on 1st day of its release. The film collected Rs. 12.06 Crore on Friday and becomes 5th highest grossing hindi movie in 2019. It remains to be seen how the movie hold on Saturday and Sunday. If word of mouth is positive, the movie may collect Rs. 40 Crore on opening weekend.
