I absolutely loathe zaroon

I am sorry but I have never ever in my television watching history felt repulsion towards a male lead as much as I have towards zaroon. Even the worst male leads still had some sensitivity but this guy absolutely takes the prize when it comes to being an insensitive rude oblivious moron.

He wants to have his cake and eat it too. Having saltanat is not enough . He wants to be the heir too. Not because he cares about upholding sufi gharana but because it is his goal. And he is so sly and cunning in the way he has gone about achieving his goals not caring who he hurts in the process. Forget kainaat. Because this guy obviously can't look beyond his own asx . Hoping he would notice the discomfort his blatant flaunting is causing kainaat is too much to hope.

But Saltanat. The woman he claims to have sufiyana love for. He doesn't notice her discomfort. The fact that she is not happy . That nobody asked her for her opinion. He simply wants to acquire saltanat. As if she is a trophy. And what was that bullshxt dialogue? Haan ki shuruat naa se something.... I hate this dialogue . This perception that men have . That when women say no, they actually mean yes. This is the exact mentality behind men who harass women. When a woman says no, it means no, you thick headed moron. He does not respect her refusal and is determined to pursue her. So what is the difference between him and a harasser ?

Moreover what is the difference between hamza and zaroon ? They both are selfish in their want for the gaddi and the girl. The only difference is zaroon is handsome while hamza, not so much. If zaroon actually has sufiyana love then why does he care about the gaddi so much ? I wish and hope kainaat gives him a tight slap when he holds her hand. If she is actually religious she would. Zaroon is still non mehram and has laid hand upon her person without permission. Any muslimah would slap him. I hope kainaat does too.

And this pathetic creature is the guy the girls want. Ewwww..... I wish and hope they find someone better . A better stronger male lead for the serial. Someone who actually has a backbone and some integrity. And is not a sly manipulative backbiter like zaroon trying to take advantage of kainaat and saltanat both. Fingers crossed.

I totally agree with you. I seriously don't understand why Kainaat is so affected with Zaroon's rejection. No woman in her right senses would like to marry such a guy. Saltanat, on the hand, disappointed me by having feelings for this guy.

I seriously hope someone would give and a tight slap to Zaroon and teach him to respect people and value their consent. Even though I don't think Kainaat will slap him for touching her, I badly want someone to do that. Zaroon is undoubtedly the most insensitive and manipulative male lead of contemporary Indian TV. No doubt on that.

Finally! Who shares my exact thoughts about this so-called Male lead Zaroon Shah. He repels me to the core. I can bear selfish guys to an extent but not insensitive jerks. Zaroon is nothing but one.

He doesn't have guts to go against his father and Say all I need is Saltanat, I don't care about gaddi but no He wants gaddi and Girl too. All these days he didn't even spare a glance at Kainaat..and today all of sudden he wants her to promise, she will talk to her mother and pave way for him. So he throws an apology. Like really? How convenient!

How about having the same consideration before his selfish purpose came into the picture? I would have loved to see that! But No!

I already highlighted in another post about how his behaviour puts me off and is nowhere close to being romantic or love - kaika love bhaiyaa, where you are not even bothered about the girl's feelings you claim to love. All he asks her is say Yes and assumes and dreams all weird things. He expects the world to operate on his terms and conditions.

For Zaroon its all about self-love, and selfishness extremes of it. Others don't matter to him. Its all about I, me myself. Mujhe Kya chahiye? bas ! That's limit of his thinking.

If he had been some third party not the hero of the show, who pesters Saltanat despite her obvious discomfort and constant rejection... would his actions be, romantic? I really wanna know bcos when I see people over social media going awww wow about his so-called romance ...I just stay mum. Bcos I am left baffled at how his stalkerish and harassing behaviour is given the colour of love.

He doesn't have to be great, flawless Mahaan ML but being a little human and wouldn't hurt either. I love flawed characters but this guy is ...beyond redemption for me already. I want him to be parcelled back to Canada, Please.

And he is the sole reason the lead pair stopped appealing to me.

I already find the plot and scenes redundant with his constant 'ikraar' and Saltanat's 'inkaar' and we are just 15 episodes old. I really want to see how far they can pull off this thing.

Exactly . But did you notice something ? What he said to kainaat was not even a proper apology. He is like everyone thinks I have hurt you. Well then what do you think you fool ? You think you havent hurt her? That she is a robot who can't experience humiliation and hurt. You think the fact that you didn't even wait before announcing that you want to marry saltanat was something a sensitive guy would do ?

Yes. Zaroon is like this man child who has this astonishing sense of entitlement. He thinks he is entitled to have saltanat. And his "pyaar" is borderline obsession where he does not even respect the fact that she is saying no. This is not love. This is junoon. His pyaar is not sufiyana. It is an insult to the word sufi. Sufiyana pyar means sacrifice. He is just a product of bad upbringing and there is not one redeeming quality about him. He can twist and talk his way out of confrontation with miyajaan but I can see right through him. At his core he is absolutely hollow. He has no substance whatsoever. He is like a child who is attracted to this shiny new toy that he wants at any cost.

The only reason I am watching this show is because I love the layers both kainaat and to some extent saltanat have in their characters. They are both a beguiling mix of innocence and stubbornness. They both have their own strengths albeit different. And i really want to know if there is any history behind the resentment kainaat harbors towards saltanat. Or is it simple sibling jealousy ? Because saltanat obviously grew up in the lap of luxury with no restrictions whatsoever and had her every need catered to. I can see how that might lead to bitterness in a sibling whose life is the exact opposite.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything you said. I need Zaroon gone. His characterisation is the only reason the lead pair have stopped appealing to me. I can't like someone who is obviously self obsessed and selfish.

I can't bare to watch Zaroon on screen mike seriously even his expressions lately he appears like a negative lead. They are promotion this show like an intense move story but it seems amready rushed and forced ( Saroon scenes look forced fast forward to me...). Even Ekta / Gul crap have better / well balanced episodes at the beginning. I was looking forward to see more of the sisters's personnalities and bonding but they are already turning Kainaat to glorify Saltanat this reminds me of Swarigini track... And of course fans are going gaga over a selfish hero who manipulates everyone to his own good and bashing Kainaat who's char have much interesting layers so far than Saroon.

I take back what I said in my previous post. I can't stand zaroon even a little bit. He has that same mentality rapists do where he doesn't give a damn about a girl's feelings, desires, considers a girl a trophy and on top of it is also greedy for power as well, so wants everything.

Kainaat is still understandable solely because of the hurt of rejection so I don't see any of her actions shocking and despicable despite being wrong in her behaviour towards saltanat and threatening suicide.

Saltanat is lovely and honestly I pretty much like and understand both girls. The only thing I dislike highly about both girls is that they both like zaroon. Uggggh! They both deserve far respectable and sweeter guys. I want zaroon away from both girls.

I badly want kainaat married to a good guy away from that monster zaroon, and for saltanat to realise that zaroon is a terrible guy and decide to cut ties with him, and he become obsessive and negative to gain the gaddi after not getting his desired shiny toy called saltanat. Just anything but zaroon ending up with either girl is something I don't want.

Kainaat doesn't really care for Zaroon. She is affected because he has chosen her arch enemy, her cousin. Also, she believes that Sultanat gets all good things and if Sultanat is getting Zaroon, Zaroon must be worth it. If Zaroon had left the house or rejected Sultant as well, she wouldn't care about him.

Zaroon for Kainaat is as much an object to be attained as Sultant is for Zaroon.

I agree. I do not see much difference between zaroon and Hamza. Both want Riyazat. One for daadi other for dad. While watching the epi, I felt the same that zaroon wants his cake and eat it too. The way he came up with his brilliant middle ground after 24 hours lol. The way he asked kayanat to tell miajan she don’t want to marry him, now through kayanat trying to change her mom’s decision. He is definitely very sly. I think kayanat and zaroon are both shown grey. Saltanat a bit of a hypocrite.

I absolutely don’t want zaroon to get rigazat. I prefer Hamza getting it lol
