What is the point of Sanam?

I don't really get why she is in the show and her purpose??

Feel like she is in the show for purposes of giving her a job

She is dilruba other wise CV could have come with different actress for Sanam.. so she iz there may be for a reason...

She is there to galvanize Tara & give her courage to fight her circumstances.
