Let's discuss love

My question is simple : whats love to you? If you're in a relationship how's your equation with your partner? (I don't intend to get personal, you can be vague)

Honestly, I never looked for spark while dating.... If that would have been the case I'd have been on BF number 10..... For me need to cultivate understanding trihumps everything, love can be born if the wavelengths match.... For f#cks sake this is practical world not a webseries where people live in fairytale. Thousands of marriages in India are not based on love, but it grew somewhere with companionship that's my definition for love.... Something that grows, it's not about falling somewhere .... It's about getting stability. And I think that's the reason the breakups are messy because we're invested too much and not because there's power cut or something (:p)

Like someone said "yeh kaisa dil Jo aaj ispe agaya Kal Uspe agaya"..... (LOL)

I believe trust and understanding are the basis. Though I have never fallen in love except with novel heroes ,I feel love should be like a light house when you are in darkness. Like a person who gives you a hope when you are feeling hopeless. There will be days when you are emotionally drained.Those days are the ones love will do it's magic. I basically believe completely accepting the person for whom he or she is and loving them for the way they are .Like each partner finds a mom ,dad,friend ,teacher,equally crazy person in the other. Your relationship should be like walking together in the journey with ups and downs. Sometimes,he has to walk faster than you and sometimes you walk faster than him ,but whatever happens,in the end,both should hold each other and help each other.
