How is Karan responsible for a failed negotiation?
This person should have used his clout to demand a lower rate for buying the print. Karans responsibility was to find distributors, which he did.

When it rains, it pours. KJo knew the film won't do well, so increases ticker prices to mask the lower footfalls. So if we go by the regular ticket prices, the opening numbers would be lower too. yikes.

He probably didn't show up for a single promo event, and was doing all he could to get positive reviews, inflate numbers to make it look like it was a success when it wasn't. tabhi toh thye were like Varun is a marketing genuis, i mean what was genius about the way they promoted, except to release trailer after the songs? Rofl, we all can now see the trailer was released to make it look like it was a different movie than what it was.

It sucks cuz it was his fathers dream movie, and maybe I'm being too idealistic, I just think it deserved better and more from kjo- the son, than this.

LOL festival price tickets are for blockbuster directors, the directors who have given blockbusters in last 5 years. Aise chindi directors ke liye overpriced tickets aur footfall expect karna foolish hai. Kalank ko agar Farah Khan ne banayi hoti toh out of curiosity people would have watched even after the poor WOM.

I'm thinking the exact same thing now. If he really cared about his father's dream project, he would've put in as much effort and time into this as he's putting into Takht.

Of course, even Alia knew this was going to fail hence that why she was barely at a lot of promotions.

I think he is blaming Karan for forcing them to increase the ticket price... he must be thinking that prices less hote toh jyada log aate..
