Durga never let Guddu see that She is evil as she is always hiding behind "greater good" for family. Durga needs to come out in open for Guddu to see that she is evil & this revelation will do that.

With all these till now had Guddu realized that Durga is evil, she would have realized kaushalya is evil too. But it did not happen cause Guddu is Guddu, she always sees best in people. She doesn't see evil as long as the person displays some good & Durga does exactly that. She doesn't know how to deal with such people. She has mentioned several times how she doesn't understand Durga.

She understands black & white but not grey. That's how she has been brought up so she will need time to learn otherwise.
