Having missed the significant other parent in their lives for too long, both the girls are seen to be longing for a whole family for a long time now. Abhi and Pragya have unwillingly lied to their daughters about the existence of the other and also about their broken marriage, to save their daughters from all the pain and hurt. They only hope to try and be able to give their daughters a normal childhood despite being single parents.

Abhi and Pragya have also stayed afar for too long and have started feeling the distance between them never ending. The show seems to have brought a new spark in it's story and is now again arching its way to the top of the most-watched show's list.
