I am also a girl and I will not marry a boy like sameer. Girls aisi nahi hoti unke liye looks sab kuch nahi hota.

Just because wo rich hai friends uske chamche bane hue hai. yesterday Episode Girl's father asked about results. Then Munna "Hum to mar mar kar pass hue lekin hamare bhai ke 60% aaye hai" Then koi bhi sochega sameer ladka hai. Munna ne kabhi khud ko explore kiya hai ki usme kya qualities hai. swati ne sahi kia warna wo es chamcha ki chamchi ban kar reh jati.

Sameer has everything to fascinate a young girl - he is good looking and rich through inheritance and I probably would have married him if I were 19 years old.
But I am an older audience and have seen so many popular kids in the high school grow up to become nobodies. Girls outgrow fascination with looks when they grow older and wealth dissipate if not used wisely. Therefore as an older audience I have been saying forever, that Sameer was never a catch in the real sense.

In love relationships most girls often fall for looks first. Obviously rich guys who can spoil a girl with gifts etc. are also found to be attractive and some girls fall easily. The combination of handsome and rich makes the guy a popular catch. This often blinds the girl, friends and her family to the guy's faults and flaws.
In arranged marriages looks of the girl is important to the guy and his family. The fairer, slimmer, prettier the better. Her skills in housekeeping and child rearing are considered important. Her wealth should be similar or a little less than that of the guy. She must be of good character. For the girl's family the guy's wealth and standing in society is most important. For the girl however, his looks are most important. She has only that to judge him on.

Whilst the above is true for many girls, there are many more girls who don't care for looks and wealth alone. They also want depth of character and a person who will treat them with respect, love and honour. However, since many of these girls voices are not heard it really depends on how well their families know them whewhechn choosing a life partner for them.

I hope we get to see what happens with Swati.
