Kalank's critical failure who is to be blamed??

I am saying critical failure because movie can still a commercial success(yes agar Kangu ki average Manikarnika ko success bol sakte hai toh kisi ko bhi bol sakte hai).

Anyways this isn't about Kangana or Manikarnika.

I haven't watched the movie yet, so I can't comment on anything. But reading members reviews, I got to see that everyone is saying that Alia was not upto the mark, overall screenplay, direction and editing sucked and most importantly the story was not really unique.

Also I am only including Alia in the option, not because I am trying to get sympathy for her using reverse psychology to get her praised. But I genuinely believe this movie rode on her and Varun's shoulder as far as story is concerned, while Varun is getting almost unanimously praised, everyone is saying Alia was iffy and couldn't rise above the mediocre script.

So vote people.

Tbh reviewers would have tried to fix it in our mind with the praise for nostril flaring, but Kangu did the damage... People are mano out of their spell. They could see through the lies so reviewers didn't pitch her this time as the best thing since sliced bread.
