It wouid be pretty difficult to culminate yudkbh into a single genre. It is a multi layered and beautifully woven extravaganza. The voice overs are great. They always enhance our experiences and their words fill us with Nostalgia and delight.it is full of wisdom, understanding of life and some regrets. It feels humane, poignant and haunting in a beautiful way.I know many of you are disappointed sometimes by VOs generalization but think of the beautiful summaries we have got all along with it.those narration are no less than a manuscript of an unpublished novel.Raw in its charm colloquial in it's intonation.

I think the first episode's VO was just like poetry. It was filled with awe, innocence,Truth and eternal love for life.when naina's VO said "Un dinon hamara duniya ka dayraa bahut chota tha
Stapu ke khel ke chote chote aath dayre ki tarah.Bas wohi saat circles- Ghar,School,Dosti,Pyaar,Ummiden,Laparwahi aur ladakpann",I was bowled over by these words. It's like poetry in prose.it conveyed so complex emotions of a 90s kid with brevity. It is one of my favourite VOs.And i still feel that it is one of the best episodes. And another favourite VO of mine-"Tab baaton ki badi ahemiyat thi".These lines are so universal and apt. They are timeless like the sun and cold like the moon.

So we got many more such poetic lines woven and narrated beautifully,Please share the VOs that moved you the most, and forced you to think.i love all of them but the first Episode's VO is just another level. How did you feel when you watched the first episode?
Aaj 400 episodes ho gayein hai aur hamara yeh safar wo VOs ko tribute diye bina adhura reh jayega.
How many of you feel that Without the VOs the show wouid feel incomplete?
Lets discuss all these things kyunki aaj fandom ke liye ek sunhera din hai aur hamarein dil mein aise kai emotions ke phuare phoot rahe hain.Let's pour these emotions into beautiful words😊❤️

Actually, Voiceovers are one unique thing this show has. I don't know, the VOs have some sort of charm that lures you to go in that 90s era and be there. It won't be a lie if I say, if it wasn't for the VOs, this show wouldn't be the same. They just add so much of depth in any scene. I would want to confess, that opening VO did make me cry. VOs are that moonlight without which moon wouldn't be just the same.

Loved your post.❤️ (I guess I have said that many a times now😆)

voiceovers are an integral part of the show
the show will be incomplete without them

Initially I found the voice over effective and interesting. They are however over used now and have become extremely irritating. The Naina voice overs laugh/giggle is so grating on the ears that I mute her each time. Any effect over used looses its uniqueness and effectiveness.

A bigwala Thanks for this post.
Seriously I was looking for a post about VO.

I loved those voices,the Laughters,the regrets
and also the words.
Despite loadz of loopholes, I loved them.
Its entirely CVS fault that some of those VO never came true (like punewala sir!)
But now a days the VO are kinda overshadowing our main characters & kinda getting dark.I Don't know if anybody else feels like this. But now VOs are constantly hinting some serious trouble.I really hope it will be a trouble for samaina not a trouble in samaina.
We got enough separation already, dont want any typical misunderstanding and leap coz thats not our show.
YUDKBH has been anything but typical!

Well,my fav VO is the end of manhoos track where sameers VO keep saying how naina made him believe in their love.that
"Meri naina" -- oh that voice, that longing, that pride in being her man -I even watched the scene again yesterday for the nth time

VO of Naina was so beautiful...
I fall for that voice n first episode itself and started feeling about my school days

I never expected VO fr Sameer .. situation where we felt very bad fr him, it started.. it was so awesome !!!

Voices f people can do magic !!!
I have always felt this while listening songs but YUDKBH proved it wrong..dialog delivery of VO can also be fantastic...

Such magical thing s wasted nowadays I hope their dialogs are written n more matured way..

I agree with this post.

I was watching the first episode a day ago where Naina's VO talks about "Ahmedabad mera ghar hua karta tha", it literally gave me goosebumps - it was sooo gorgeous. There were times in earlier episodes where VOs linked the events together and made it very meaningful. However, the overuse of the VO to justify everything and anything nowadays has made it ineffective and annoying. I particularly don't like Naina's VO nowadays because it giggles senselessly and above all the way it talks about "90s mein aisa hua karta tha" does not go well with me. The VOs should not generalize what it used to be in the 90s and keep the VO to how it used to be for Sameer & Naina exclusively instead because not all 90s viewers are agreeing with what the VOs is projecting 90s to be.
