I have this idea , why are they not getting Atul married to Kuhu instead ?

This way they can still accomplish their desire of mishti vs kuhu and a character like kunal wouldn't get wasted in the process.

I feel Kunal has been manipulated for years so he's accustomed to abide by his mother's wishes but he is opinionated as well , he just needs a push.

I really liked Kunal in today's episodes. To me, it was the first episode that truly described his character. Yes he is bit subdued but has his view points not only in case of Meenakshi but also Abir. He was not quite convinced with his mother's decisions nor he was was convinced with his brother making him play Mishti's savior, which is good. Every character should distinguishable from each other. Hope he is able to better organzie his thoughts and bring forth his views in future.

Kuhu is like any other girl in real life. She loves Mishti very much. She will not be mad that Kunal is Mishti's knight. She will accept it because she is a really good person at heart. She will feel that maybe Kunal always has Mishti on his mind which is what Meenakshi said. She will honestly be very happy for Mishti and will never try to break the alliance knowingly. But the very fact that Kunal remembers Kuhu's name even though he was intoxicated shows that he is connected to Kuhu and not Mishti.

We are watching the same show, but our viewpoints are different. We have different experiences in life which has given us different perspectives. I feel Kuhu is seriously misunderstood character. Just because of what is seen around her cannot mean that she has to feel a certain way. She has the right to her own feelings just like everybody else. Just like Mishti didn't ask to have that sad backstory, Kuhu didn't ask for everything to seem rosy around her. In a rose plant, some see the roses, some see the thorns. The softness of the rose is as real as the sharpness of the thorns. The pain, the insecurities, her struggles are as real as Mishti's. She deserves the same kind of validation that Misthi deserves. She is no less than Mishti. She too bleeds red when cut. She deserves both empathy and sympathy the same as Mishti.

We can have different point of views. I respect yours. But that will not change me to not defend Kuhu. I like her as she is. I agree that she is a little immature, but she will grow out of it. She is capable of that. But she is as sensitive as Mishti is and is almost the same as Mishti for me.
