Anurag - Where are you?

I just caught up with the last few episodes. I am honestly so frustrated with the emotional labor that Prerna has to put forth for her relationship with Anurag. Ever since the confession, the responsibility has been on Prerna to express the relationship with the honesty it deserves. There wasn't even a grace period where Anurag and Prerna got to be in a relationship without any other conflicts. Prerna didn't even get to enjoy it besides a one night stand which she got basically punished for by being pregnant. Prerna has recieved no joy from being in a relationship with Anurag. Especially now, she is lonely in a big house where everyone is against her. And the people who are on her side are not outwardly on her side, they don't defend her, they don't actually support her. Anurag is literally going out of his way to hurt her emotionally at every point. But she's still coming in strong, and snatching her rights because that's what she HAS to do. She doesn't have any other choice. (I mean she does but when will we ever get an individual arc for Prerna). But Anurag has SO MUCH POWER. His mother dies for him. If Anurag wanted Prerna to be accepted by his family, he can literally tell his family that he is in love with Prerna and she makes him happy and that would go a long way in making Prerna feel like she belongs. His tunnel vision about Komolika hurting Prerna has no basis. He got his information from a random guy that for her Anurag knows is lying to him. The foundation of this whole conflict is sooo faulty. It makes no sense.

Another aspect of Anurag's family not accepting Prerna is due to her class status, aka being a "middle class" girl. Has Anurag ever ONCE mentioned that he doesn't give a flying f**k about money? No. Not once. At least not in the sense it truly matters. He hasn't ever defended Prerna, he's just being swept along with everyone else's decision. Does he even have a mind of his own anymore? Where is the Anurag that went against everyone and protected Prerna at all costs, including facing life and death? WHERE IS HE? I don't even recognize Anurag anymore.

And does prerna make any sense ? If she believed anurag tricked her, cheated her, did pyar ka natak whatever , then what is she fighting for? What basis does this revenge has? To make anurag accept her forcefully? Why would she want to be in a relationship where the man doesnt love her and his family loathes her (according to her own conclusion)?

To make anurag NOT fall in love with komolika? Howz this possible ? Just be keeping them away n not letting them in the same bedroom, can she avoid him falling for any other girl ? As per her conclusion he loves komo , just by not consummating , which can happen anywhere anytime any night , what exactly can she achieve?

To make anurag suffer ? Now how is this happening ? Is he suffering.or is she suffering more ? The main issue here is anurag not komolika and prerna is focussing only on komolika thereby not making any sense at all. A Better TracK Would Be That Prerna Gets To Know Under What CircumstanCes Did AnuraG Marry And She tries To Bail AnuraG Out Of This Mess , With Or WithouT Telling Him . Then I Would Have said That She Is Trying To Save "Their" Relationship And Love . Here She Is Not DoinG Anything But Bullshitting Herself. Anurag Too.

I am not saying anurag is an innocent cow . He is not even worth a fight. The person who worships his mothrr and could never take a stand for prerna, certainly she doesnt have a bright future with him. Ultimately , love stories are not made with the families around . Lolzz

She doesn't make any sense either but this post was strictly for Anurag. The last couple of episodes made it blatantly obvious that Prerna is doing all of this for the sake of giving her baby a father's name. I think even worse than being being pregnant out of wedlock is not being accepted by the father's family. I think that's the thought process behind her taking in all the insult... which she's not really taking lightly and replying with equal chutzpah.

The whole premise about Anurag trying to 'protect' Prerna from Komolika is just atrocious. Especially not after seeing how Prerna is going above and beyond to protect her and Anurag's relationship.

Every relationship has to be two-sided. Anurag simply can't sit in the sidelines and 'be proud' of her in his mind all the time or secretly romance her (without even letting her know).

Mohini and Nivedita:

The other reason I simply don't get is Mohini and Nivedita's weird logic about not liking Prerna. It's completely justified if you don't like someone. But the only reasoning they've stated time and again for not liking Prerna is that she's 'middle-class'. There has to be a stronger reason for the hatred than just the fact that she's 'middle-class'. I doubt that even the any of the richest of the richest families go around telling people they're middle-class. In fact, they're being hypocrites if nothing else. Nivedita married a hen-packed man who doesn't earn a single penny which is worse than any middle-class family who work day and night to make ends meet. And Mohini fell in love with a not-so-rich Moloy when she was younger and apparently, supported him to build Basu publications. How can she suddenly have a prejudice against 'middle-class' people if she has gone through the same phase in life?

Prerna:

In fact, Prerna also doesn't make any sense now. She can clearly see Anurag is trying to be with Komolika. I fail to understand what is she even fighting for anymore? Clearly, her husband is being a chicken and not doing anything to be with her either. She rather focus on herself and her child and lead a happier life than fight for a spineless husband like Anurag.

Mishka and Anupam:

Chickens of the first order! Both of them are of no help and just want nothing to bad to happen to Anurag and Prerna and just watch the drama unfold. What's the point of them having any of them on the show at all.

Komolika:

And what you said at the end also came up. She knows in her heart that Anurag is doing this for a reason, and he doesn't actually want to hurt her. But I hate that we got Prerna expressing those concerns but Anurag didn't really reflect about his recent actions.

If she does manage to throw out komofrom.his life , will she be able to live a respectable life ? Will she respect him ever (considering her thought process.. anurag is not like that is another story..) .

When I said he has so much power I meant that if Anurag really wanted to he could get his true ways in a heartbeat. His mom would support him if he was demanding enough. If he told her that he loved Prerna and he wants to be with her then Mohini will be upset but she'll come around to it sooner or later. I don't know why Anurag is underestimating himself. If he really wanted to be with Prerna there are so many ways he could make it happen.

I think Prerna doesn't want her child to be emotionally harmed from a young age?? idk i'm trying to make sense of it. And i think she's also mentioned that she wants to get back at Anurag for hurting her?
