Kareena Kapoor Khan is still doing so well in her career bagging all crazy projects with the IT people in business even after marriage and Taimur.

What did Aishwarya lack? She's as good as Kareena as an actress and much more beautiful. Also has contacts not only in Bollywood but also Hollywood.

Kareena unlike Aish, still has relevant box office pull.
Plus Aish is a dedicated mom, she probably wants to work as per her wishes and probably taking acting career as secondary over motherhood.

What works in Kareena's favor is that she has aged really gracefully and doesn't look a day older than she did in 2009.

While Aishwarya, despite aging gracefully, doesn't look the same anymore.

Kareena lost all her baby weight after Taimur's birth and immediately did a glamor role in Veere Di Wedding. It seemed like she never left.

Aishwarya, on the other hand, has taken many 'breaks' and she clearly looked older than Ranbir in ADHMK. Although she looked sizzling hot in that film.

So, Kareena has managed to look young and stay relevant like a leading lady, despite her marriage and the motherhood.

I don't think aish is charming enough to be still relevant after 40+. She can't do something like kareena like ki and ka

She can do but she isn't allowed to. There was huge hungama from Bachchans for doing ADHM

Though I started liking Kareena after watching Ki and Ka it isn't that difficult role.

I don't think she's happy with the way her career is going. Can see her frustration in signing films and dropping them.

First of all Aishwarya took a 5 year break compared to Kareena's less than 2 year break. Aishwarya is 6 years older than Kareena, that also has to be noted. Aishwarya doesn't hang around much with the Bollywood crowd and is hardly seen at events or parties, while Kareena is seen socializing a lot and moves closesly within BW circles and is a well-known gossip-monger.

Kareena is also obsessed with working out while Aishwarya has never been spotted at the gym. Aishwarya rejects film offers if they don't fit into her schedule and even if she has to stay away from Aaradhya for a single day, while Kareena went on week long holidays when her son was hardly 2-3 months old.

There are significant differences in their personalities and their priorities in life. Aishwarya has obviously seen more stardom than Kareena has ever seen, and that too she was self-made at that. May be she wants to enjoy this phase of her life and is not concerned about films as much as Kareena is.
