People that are saying that Kareena is doing well because of neptoism should understand that neptoism can't keep anyone's career going for more than 15 years if they don't have talent. If that's the situation, then Esha would've last in the industry for so many years like Kareena. Esha's parents and elder brother were much bigger stars than Kareena's parents and sister but that couldn't help Esha much. I am not a fan of Kareena but at this point calling Kareena neptoism doesn't make any sense. When Kareena entered in Bollywood, there wasn't much neptoism. KJo wasn't that powerful at that time and 90 precent of the actresses were outsiders. Lara, Amisha, Amrita, Vidya Balan, Kat, PC, Neha Dhuphia and Ayesha Takia were all outsiders that debuted in the early 2000's. Only Kareena and Esha were insiders. If neptoism can keep actors actresses career forever, then SRK and Akshay wouldn't last in the industry for more than 25 years. Bobby Deol and Sanjay Kapoor should've last that long. If Ash is so concerned about her daughter, then she should've quit acting forever like Twinkle Khanna to take care of her daughter but she had been doing one after another movie ever since she came back in 2015. Vidya Balan is an outsider and she is doing well after her marriage. She even gave hits without any big stars after her marriage. So neptoism, marriage and kids can't affect much to actresses career nowadays if they are telanted and Ash fans should understand that. She is lucky that she got so many opportunities for so many years despite acting so pathetic.

First of all Aishwarya took a 5 year break compared to Kareena's less than 2 year break. Aishwarya is 6 years older than Kareena, that also has to be noted. Aishwarya doesn't hang around much with the Bollywood crowd and is hardly seen at events or parties, while Kareena is seen socializing a lot and moves closesly within BW circles and is a well-known gossip-monger.

Kareena is also obsessed with working out while Aishwarya has never been spotted at the gym. Aishwarya rejects film offers if they don't fit into her schedule and even if she has to stay away from Aaradhya for a single day, while Kareena went on week long holidays when her son was hardly 2-3 months old.

There are significant differences in their personalities and their priorities in life. Aishwarya has obviously seen more stardom than Kareena has ever seen, and that too she was self-made at that. May be she wants to enjoy this phase of her life and is not concerned about films as much as Kareena is.

For someone so concerned with raising her kid first, Ms. Rai sure does seem to find the time to do every B grade film that comes her way be it Jazbaa, Sarabjit or Fanney Khan. Really the only A list project she's done in the last 8 years was a supporting role in Evil Kjo's directorial. Aishwariya Rai also had 0 qualms and/or ethical considerations keeping the producers of Heroine in dark about her pregnancy. She was fine keeping them hostage for over 2 years. Crazy, considering the woman doesn't want to work. 😆

Let's be honest here, Aishwariya doesn't get any work. She doesn't have the stardom or the talent. Kareena is still a bona fide star & a much better actress. Kinda insulting to Kareena to label her success as a product of socialization.

Kareena has never had any box office pull. She's still in her 30s and is lucky that it's 2019 and things are changing in the last 2 years alone.

Aishwarya is far better than Kareena but she is much older than her which makes it difficult for her to make a strong comeback. She is 1 Yr older than Karishma also.

Kareena is still in her late 30s while Ash is in her mid 40s. Lets see where Kareena will be when she hits mid 40s. Most actresses in their mid 40s are in the same boat as Ash barring a few like Tabu, who never took a break from acting.

Ash's first priority is her daughter and have a traditional approach towards family and motherhood (not bad either) , hence she does movies as per schedules available in sync with her daughter. Hence after 2010's she has mostly done the guest appearance kind of role. Adding to that, she was always a director's actor. Good director= Good performance, Bad director= Bad Performance. Its her beauty which makes her a leading star more than a her acting.

I think Kareena has lot more support from her husband and in laws compared to orthodox Bachchans who had made even Jaya sit at home after marriage.

I think she is also taking a backseat because she does not want to come across as more successful, popular than her husband or overshadow him.

Strange people bash Kareena. Why? How can anyone judge she is a bad mother? Nothing wrong if she maintains herself and is fit, moves with times and is also active on social media like YouTube or has her own radio show.

Kareena keeps herself relevant and busy which is great.

Where is it written that mother must leave her work and stop taking care of her own health only then she is devoted otherwise she is a bad mom? All rich people have nannies for their kids. Do not tell me Aaradhya never had any governess, ayah or nanny look after her.

For that matter even Kajol maintained herself well after marriage and kids and did good work.

Aishwarya is burdened with that Bachchan tag. Simple. She also burned bridges with Khans and Bachchan camp issues with others also affect her career.

Bachchans are conservative and have issues with whatever she does. Jaya was irked by that kissing scene in Dhoom 2, slight intimate scene in Jodha Akbar and scenes in ADHM.

Whereas Kareena's husband and MIL are chilled out. Saif also has flops but he finds work anyway be it in online series or starting own clothing line. Abhishek in contrast is seen nowhere.

I bet Ash takes backseat due to in laws and husband not just due to her daughter who is not a baby anymore.

Ash is older than Kareena, looks older and has baggage of most beautiful woman weighing her down because the tag becomes burden after a certain age unless one looks like Rekha.

I do not see her in many ads either except international ads for Loreal or Longines. Whereas Kajol, Madhuri and Karisma are in many ads from soap, namkeen, flour to pressure cookers.

Aishwarya should learn longevity and diversification from Hema Malini who continued to work in films, stage, TV shows, politics, editor of magazines, producer and director even after marriage and kids despite Dharmendra being conservative and not liking her dancing on stage etc.

Or else sit at home and eventually become like Jaya in looks, lifestyle and career.

She is behaving like a typical Bachchan bahu downplaying herself for sake of husband. And sorry she is disconnected from masses unlike Kareena, Kajol, Madhuri who do ads, radio shows, use social media that appeal to masses.

Aishwarya chooses bad films even if she does a film. Jazbaa, Sarabjit, Fanney Khan are a waste.

Vidya Balan and Tabu are doing better work.

Kareena tries to choose subjects that appeal to youth. Tabu does Golmaal and Andhadhun type films at same time.

Choices in work, endorsements and interaction with media and social media make lot of difference.

Sadly Aishwarya didn't have even an activist image like Shabana Azmi because she is conservative and diplomatic.

At this rate she will find it hard to come back or be relevant again unless doing mom roles like Jaya in later age.

Actually same set of people keep giving parenting lectures to both Kareena & Aishwarya. Aish for being overprotective and Kareena for ignoring her kid 😆
