People should stop using nepotism excuses now that Aishwarya is a Bachchan. She is very much an insider now.
Only nepotism alone does not get work. Madhuri is not in film families but she gets work on TV, movies, ads. Karisma is a Kapoor but gets no movies, only gets ads.
Bachchans are conservative and hold their women back after marriage. Nepotism has nothing to do with Kareena getting work and Aishwarya not getting it. Kareena belongs to a much more progressive, chilled out family compared to Aishwarya who is in Bachchan household.
When their marriage was announced, Bachchans were boasting how quiet, domesticated Aishwarya was and how she listens and stands behind. Reportedly made her do many regressive rituals and upay also over some astrological defect in her kundali. From then itself it was evident what future Ash would have.
Infact those who know how conservative Bachchans are, were surprised when Ash continued to appear at Cannes in those gowns and worked in Robot, JA, ADHM, Action Replayy etc. People would ask how come they didn't make her sit at home like Jaya and allowed her to do even this much. 😆
Strange how Bachchans are seen more with Shweta and Navya now but not that much with Ash who seems to be taking a backseat so that her fame does not overshadow other less successful members of her in laws family (except Amitabh).
Nothing wrong with loving daughter but the way they sideline Ash of late, is strange.
