Wow! I had no idea about this at all! And this is not terrorism for Indians isn't it? The country has kept quiet for years and years without justice meted out to those innocent lives and yet expects other countries to react to extremism. Quite hypocritical I must say. I see posts after posts on social media after recent attacks of soldiers questioning and getting angry at other countries' non action. Then what about Indian government and it's people keeping quiet for years on this and also the rape cases that's been reported so far? If this is not hypocrisy I don't know what is.

I don't remember Amitabh saying anything of this kind. If he had made such a statement it would have appeared in newspapers next day. It is a bit unbelievable, especially because, Tejwant Kaur, his mother was also a Sikh. But then he was buddy-buddy with Rajiv Gandhi and family.

I remeber watching many serials like Sanjha Chulha, Dil Dariya, Doosra Keval and others dealing with this problem.

It is also a fact that there might be ISI-Pakistani agents on different Indian forums assuming false identities posting misleading comments.

Yes Amitabh Bachchan was close to Gandhi family and joined Congress in 1984 and he did shout 'khoon ka badla khoon, iss khoon ke chheente inn Sikhon ke ghar tak pahunchne chahiye".

He has eyewitnesses against him. He faces protests from Sikhs whenever he goes to Punjab or goes abroad. He has cases against him in foreign courts.

Due to closeness to Gandhis he got saved and also because DD alone has the footage of that incident as there were no mobiles or other medi present then nor any private channels in 1984.

His mother being from a Sikh family makes no difference. His loyalty to Gandhi family and Congress mattered more to him back then.

The guards who shot IG were killed on the spot by police and other guards. So how can you justify khoon ka badla khoon as an emotional reaction? It is well recorded and documented that slogan was used to incite mobs to kill random Sikhs in Nov 1984. It was not for guards who killed Indira.

Shocking to see such response from a usually sensible member like you.
