I have probably been watching a few indian soap operas on and off for much less time ( about 3 years) than many of you who may have grown up on them .
The promos showed Rocky and Happy as the leads and the actors themselves have said they were hired as the leads so it is obvious they will end up together as happens in most of these shows . So why have this fruitless hypothetical discussion speculations All of these shows are so predictable no matter how innovative or different they try to say they are . It's not rocket science
Only if the trps are not working will they kill of the character or have him go missing or and bring in another male lead or if the actor is not working have rocky get in some horrible accident have plastic surgery to justify another actor playing the character
But assuming the trps are relatively decent and the actor does not decide to quit they willkeep the character of Rocky and the actor playing him and will drag the story out for a year or more if the show lasts this long with constant bickering bet Rocky and Happy or multiple makeups and breakups / misunderstandings or one or successive villians or third parties who fall madly and often obsessively in love with one or both of them trying to break them up or keep them apart. Sometimes they will stand against the villians together or one will rescue the other or one or both willfall prey to the villians' machinations and misunderstand each other and break up until they are reconciled Oh and let's not forget the classic heart wrenching I will leave without telling you or pretend I don't like you though I love you to protect you from someone and you will be heartbroken and hate me though you stillreally love me
eventually they have a happy ending at the end of the show unless there is a generational
leap where one or both may die or appear as parents to a younger generation and the whole vicious cycle starts again . Imo indian soap operas esp and soap operas in general and most reality shows simply appeal to the lowest common denominator
