😲😲😲

and afterall what I said about cvs being capable of giving things ugly turns was true.

But this!!!!😔

I did good to myself by not keeping my hopes up about story and characters, even RP said in his interview a lawyer with a strive to do good for people, how will RV ever face himself after this???😭

Pathetic😔

How can RV do this? He has become a bigger criminal by rebuffing an innocent

All those talks about wanting to do good for people blah blah blah was utter nonsense as when it came down to getting justice for an innocent person wronged by his own brother he didn't give a damn about doing good for people.

I had posted my reaction to tonight's episode on the other thread about Rohit's performance the day before, but it belongs more here, so I am putting down a revised version of that piece.

So I was, as is often the case when I try to second guess the CVs, completely wrong. RV did not, as I had expected, stand tall and ensure that justice prevailed. He crumbled, and ended up as a shyster who lets an innocent man bear the punishment for his brother's crime.

It was a case of feet of clay with a vengeance.

Rohit was really very good tonight, internally paralysed by the enormity of what he is about to do, visibly shaken and bereft of his trademark self-confidence. For his self-confidence is based on his sense of rectitude, his unshakable moral integrity.

Now all that lies in ruins. Nothing that the CVs or RV can do in the future will be able to restore his earlier pristine image.

There is no.question of his getting Ranveer punished. If he had had the moral.strength and determination to do that, he would have done it tonight. There is no way he is going to backtrack now.

I don't understand why they have made him, no, not a grey character, but a villain, so early on. I also wonder why Rohit, after playing Alexander, chose this role. Maybe there will be an arc of repentance, as his conscience eats away at him from inside. I don't know, and I am, right now, too disappointed to bother about it.

One thing seems likely, that Happy will end up marrying RV. She is now convinced of Rocky's guilt, so that will be easier. For her, that is, not for him.with Anaya baying for his blood and Grover probably blackmailing him with the recording.

Even otherwise, marrying Happy will be another circle of hell for RV, for she will be an ever present reminder of his guilt, a guilt that he can neither confess nor erase from his psyche.

Maybe this was the role that attracted Rohit.

Another thing, we can now look forward to a Count of Monte Cristo style revenge track for Rocky. All told, these dismal prospects point to an early exit for me! šŸ˜‰

But marrying happy would be complicated given that RV is in a committed relationship with that girl who I think is mr grover's daughter, and it was because of mr grover's false statement that RV's demon brother was saved. If RV ditches mr grover's daughter, why would mr grover not retaliate by getting RV's brother punished, that is whether I am right about RV's girlfriend being mr grover's daughter as I think I remember her calling him papa last week. Considering the 10 year jail sentence was announced for rocky and rocky said that in these 10 years nobody should come to meet him it meant they're having a whole 10 year leap, which is far too long of a leap.

Honestly it really makes me sick to see how sleekly RV and mr grover covered up for his brother and trapped rocky, justifying it in their heads somehow. I mean he is the last surviving son of his family, he has and elderly and ailing father who is struggling financially for which rocky had completely changed himself to take responsibility for his family, but RV thinks it is justified to ruin rocky's life, take a son away from a family, betray the trust of somebody who has already been victimised merely just to save his spoiled criminal brother?

He thinks his brother will change after putting the blame of his crimes on someone else? Really???? I hope not, just to teach RV a lesson. Covering up someone's mistakes will only encourage a person to repeat the same mistakes thinking that each time their mistakes would be conveniently be forgiven, allowed to escape with consequences.

It's quite evident that those who have money can get away with anything even serious crime. And if you stand tall in the society no one will question you for any proof.
Ive always disliked RaHa but I was hoping for RV to be a good guy. Om e with sense in the show. His talk of principles and why he became a lawyer and the emotional back story was just getting me to like his character but alas He was all the talk when it was required he could not stay true to his own words. Some great lawyer he is. 😔😔

He is shown to be committed to anaya then how can he be smitten with Happy??? His character had many flaws since the start.

I hope at least he stops his practice now and feels guilty for what he has done. His brother I don't have much expectation from him.

HOW TF DID THEY BUTCHER HIS CHARACTER. I ALWAYS THOUGHT HE WAS GREY SHADED ANYWAYS. SO, NOT SURPRISED. BUT, FINALLY ROCKY DESERVES HIS SENTENCE FOR WHAT HE DID TO HAPPY AS HE WAS GOING TO GET AWAY WITH IT. BUT, BEING BLAMED FOR SMILEY'S KIDNAPPING IS LOW

Your points are all well taken. But seeing the ungodly mess things are in, there seems to be no sense in bothering about the details!

I had noted, in my post, that a Happy-RV marriage would be easier now for her, as she believes Rocky is guilty, but not for him, with both Anaya and her father after his blood.

The reason why I feel it will happen is that I am convinced the CVs are planning a full blown revenge track in 3 years, when Rocky probably escapes from prison and reappears in a disguise that everyone in the audience can see through but the other characters can't.šŸ˜‰That revenge track will need him to hate Happy, for which her marriage to RV would, I feel, be necessary.

Right now, all he can blame her for is not trusting him. He loves her, so her marriage to RV would be, for him, a betrayal, especially if he has somehow come to know that he was framed. Don't ask me how!šŸ˜‰ This
script is fast beginning to resemble
an Ekta Kapoor confection, with tracks being changed at random, with neither logic nor charm

There is no point either in lamenting over the butchering of RV's character.
I watch very few shows, but even so I have seen this happen again and again. But rarely so soon! Or so thoroughly. 😔The whole stuffing has been knocked out of him in one fell swoop, and now only a hollow shell is left.

Anyhow, I have lost a lot of my nascent interest in the show. Soon, I suspect, so will you.
