Shaurya ke ma and Shaurya ke babuji

There way of addressing each other was so different .
I haven't followed the parent show , maybe that's why .
However , I wanted to ask how does Shaurya ki ma becomes mishtis Badi MA while kuhu's dadi ?
I'll be really grateful if someone can throw light on this

akshara is Shaurya's sister. mishti is aksharas BIL's daughter.

And since Mishti received loads of love and found her mother-figure in Shaurya's mum which makes Shaurya ki maa, her badi maa.
