Why do you ask the same question in every thread even after getting the answers? Just because she's anonymous to the public doesn't mean she's non existent. All the main players know her. VVC and wife supposedly tried to help her too. And case? How does one prove sexual assault? Her credibility comes from the fact that she waited for months and went to everyone she could to ask for help. It wasnt an overnight thing. Also seeing what happened with Vinta Nanda no wonder women will no longer go to court. Also its very clear to me after the Ambani thing why she didnt take the risk. Wise girl I say.

99% of the time there's no proof that harassment and assault happened. Doesn't mean they should all be ignored. This accused was credible enough for VCC's family to support her initially, release a statement of support, and have her at their house for two days. And I doubt any new evidence has come out in support of Hirani because his PR would be all over that. This is a case of VCC and the rest of Bollywood not wanting to kick out one of their big money makers. Greed is winning over morality.

After seeing the way Ambanis have frolicked with Hirani I don't think anyone will dare come out if they want a peaceful life in Mumbai. Imagine one of the most powerful men on the planet who am sure has everyone in Mumbai on his payroll openly supporting your assaulter. Seriously the way the rich and the powerful get away in this country. Sigh.

It's not just India. It's all over the world. Here in the U.S. by the time the elections of 2016 took place Trump had over a dozen accusers of sexual assault. He was caught on tape bragging about grabbing them by the ___. He still won. Asking for proof is just an excuse sometimes. Women's plights are never a priority in most societies. It's the sad truth.

I believe u should always support the accuser and listen to them. Start an investigation based on their statement. That doesn't necessarily mean u have to reach the conclusion that the accused is indeed the culprit. Thats what the police do. They start an investigation but they don't necessarily form a conclusion based on an FIR. So VVC coming in support of the woman is maybe his way of helping her.( Not comparing VVC with police here, I m comparing the approach) Its clearly better than forming a judgement on spot of whom u want to side with without any understanding of the incident.

Her sticking to her statement for months, asking for help from everyone or VVC coming to her support, none of this means that Hirani is indeed the culprit. As an individual we can choose to believe it but thats all it will ever be. Your choice to believe somebody. Hirani can always come back and say there is no proof against him and he is being punished on unfair grounds. Which is true again and this is what every accused is doing anyways. I m not supporting anyone, I m just being practical here. I agree its impossible to prove sexual harassment/ assault which is why this becomes so complicated. So I don't know if people can be punished based on an individual's statement here. It doesn't look like a solution to me. Infact in the long run I feel it might cause much more harm to the all victims case which is what is happening to the whole MeToo movement here right now.
