Why does Bollywood cast nepo kids?

Aren't we at fault too? I mean the first thing my mom says whenever she sees a new actor or actress is whose kid they are .. and people would pay their hard earned money to go watch Sridevi's daughter's debut as opposed to some outsider .. so at the end of the day how can we blame filmmakers?

Sara does seem to have the makings of a BW star-she was so good in Kedarnath..and her fab dances did add to Simmba's buzz.

No one is casting Jahnvi..or Alia(Lets not talk about the 30 minute role in GullyBOY by nepo(multiple) director Zoya-who I guess exempted Kjo from co-producing)

Who are the other nepo kids..Ishan is talented-but too boyish.

Aur kaun hai?

Yeah its amazes me when people bash kjo for backing alia...comeon we audience accepted her and watching her movies and giving her hits ..itsnot karan fault though..

Arre She is asking why do they get work..Only Kjo gives Alia work.No one else does.So she does small roles in GB,Kalank,Takht- and then gets a lollipop with a Biopic from Kjo for working like a dog for him in multiple films

She didn't exempt Kjo, she just didn't want Kjo or anyone else to ghost direct or give inputs. She was supposed to make it independently under her own banner, coz she didn't want Siddhwani to interfere. Excel was going through low phase so Farhan asked her to let them coproduce.

Iam saying what tm is saying that we r at fault too by watching Nepo kids movies and making them hits...and being a filmmaker karan is at no fault...and took alia/karan as example

Why do people only have problem with nepo actors.. Why are we not protesting against nepo directors/producers and other crew.

Audience watched Outsider Ayushman and Yami's first movie Vicky Donor and made it a hit ( yet they struggled to get more movies )

Outsider Sushant's first movie Kai Po che was a hit , outsider Rajeev's first movie Aamir was a hit

If they get the launch like star kids get in brainless masala movies like the Student Of The Year, ppl will watch their movies too

I was listening to Azaadi the other day and the lyrics were something like Paiso se banate apne beton ko yeh star hai na 😆

And I realised without the slightest hint of irony, the song was used in a Zoya Akthar film, produced by Farhan Akthar, starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
