Why was Ruhaan asking Mishti's opinion

Seriously, this guy is mysterious to me. He is attracted to Mishti and has tender feelings for her which are nothing more than infatuation , this much is clear about him. But when Veer said that he should marry a girl like mishti, why did Ruhaan turn to Mishti instantly and asked her should he do that? And even during their confrontation, why did he press upon the same question... Couldnt understand that part at all, was that aapki jaisi ladki a taunt like Mishti assumed🤔

I think coz mishti was kiss Him (Ruhaan ) so an Ruhaan love or like her (mishti)..

I don't think he's bad or intending to pursue her seriously, as for now. He's just disappointed that his budding feelings for Mishti never saw it's dawn.

So wanted to know if any one understood the context he was asking her ...
