Sarah Ai Khan once described it the message behind it as "there are so many divisions in terms of caste, creed, and religion but in times of crisis we all come together." Well, the film definitely succeeded in the show the divisions. But in terms of coming together in moments of crisis. They could have shown Muslims helping Hindus and vice versa. The fiance was already shown to be a bad person perhaps he could have abandoned Mukku's family while a low wage Muslim came to their rescue. Or a Hindu rescuing a Muslim child. The only time I really felt that the film depicted people coming together. When Mansoor made sure Mukku and her family were safe and sacrificed himself. I can see how the film took inspiration from the Titanic.
