So, the writers of this show did have sanity as they knew the difference between right and wrong, they knew what was the right choice, what morality and ethics mean, what is the actual definition of true love !
Finally Mauli made a decision! She CHOSE Ishaan !
It was not a compulsion for her to choose Ishaan, infact Dida kept pressurizing her to choose Kunal and kept luring her in name of making her family complete...But NOPE ! This was the Mauli of past who would beg a cheater husband to stay in her life, who would make a compromise !
This is new Mauli, an independent woman who has realised her worth ! Who admitted that she was capable enough to take care of herself and her daughter and she didn't need anyone else for that !
So, when she chose Ishan it wasn't out of any compulsion or any compromise BUT OUT OF LOVE ! Yes Mauli loved Ishaan and wanted to be with him ! She listened to her heart and chose her TRUE LOVE !
Yes, she was right when she said, 'Pyar karna maine Kunal se seekha par pyar nibhana maine Ishaan se seekha'
She understood the true meaning of love, love that is selfless, that is pure, that puts you and your happiness above the rest...She learnt it from Ishaan !
She chose Ishaan coz it was not only the right decision but because she had fallen in love with her true soulmate who taught her the true meaning of love !
When some say that this was of MauNal love story, I think they didn't understand the show in my opinion coz it was never MauNal's love story...It was a story of relationships and how they change with the course of time...It was Mauli's journey- journey of moving on, moving on from heartbreak, from a broken relation and eventually realizing her self worth , becoming independent and finding true love again.
I always wanted Mauli to move on, become independent, realize her self worth and fall in love again, to realize that all relationships won't end on a bitter note, to re-learn how to love again , to find true love...and this is exactly what happened !
Kunal fell in love with Nandini and left Mauli, he broke a happy marriage for the sake of his love for Nandini - Kunal moving on from Mauli and falling in love with Nandini was silsila badalte rishton ka !
and then finally Mauli moved on in life post her divorce, post her heartbreak , she moved on , realized her self worth and fell in love with Ishaan and when the time came she chose Ishaan over Kunal - whom she loved madly once but as relationships change, Mauli left Kunal whom she loved madly once, whom she begged to stay in her life, she left him for the man who made her realize what true love really meant ..She married ISHAAN, had a baby with him and this was indeed MAUHAAN'S HAPPY ENDING!!!!!! - This indeed was SILSILA BADALTE RISHTON KA !
