According to tellychakkar, zain's new show will air on SP now as opposed to SB! The producer dipti is yet to confirm.

Heard Sanjeevani 2 is coming soon on Star. How i wish Zain was part of such a show. Omg. Him as a hot/cute Doc. Something like Dr Armaan. 😭 But this upcoming of his is gonna be any aother Saas bahu thing i heard and on top of it he is playing a father? Not liking it. Sanjeevani would have been a sure shot upgrade after Naamkarann.

The kid is not his, but the son of his character's older brother, who will be played by anuj sachdev, who is playing a cameo in the show, and his character will die. Predictably it seems zain's character will marry his older brother widow and take on the role of father of his older brother's son. This is just speculation based off of the articles, especially the article of anuj sachdev's character being a cameo playing zain's elder brother. I honestly don't get why zain and shrenu picked this show of all shows. I'm sure they both would have received a lot of offers. Would have loved to have seen zain in sanjivani. Isn't sanjivani the original show before they made dil mil gaye as a spin off to it? I guess we will have to wait for the show to air in order to judge it, but so far this show doesn't sound impressive, especially given the title and that picture of him beside that married woman and boy who clearly are his brother's widow and son cum his wife and nephew.

Exactly. I just want to see zain in Youth target based shows. Thats all im asking for. I think he could have done better.

This show of Zain is apparently a remake of the Tamil serial Aanandham. Shrenu will be playing the evil sister in law. Zain is the good guy but the story looks like the typical SaaS bahu. I am sure the young digital crowd may not like it but I think it will gain TRP among the ITV crowd who likes this kind of SaaS bah shows. After NK, this story maybe a let down for us but cannot blame Zain. He has to work and how long can he wait for a unique story.

True! Indian serials have far to go before tv actors find shows and roles of at least decent content and interest. Indian tv actors are beggars who can't be choosers when it comes to picking roles on a poor quality medium. Just read up on that Tamil serial Aanandham, and yes from the articled on zain's show and the behind the scene pic of zain with that married girl and little boy seems like this show really is inspired/ remake of that tamil serial, plus before meri biwi ka sasural the show was also going to be called anandam. Seems shrenu's role will be that of abhirami and zain will be karthik who married his elder brother's widow. Karthik later (as a unplanned track just to elongate the show) has an ex-girlfriend and illegitmate child come in the show. A juhi type bloody track.

Oh yes! I remember the article said that tina will be paired with zain's character initally, and that falls in line with anandham's plotline of abhirami (the other sis in law that shrenu is obviously playing) hoping that her younger sister would marry karthik (who zain will play), but instead karthik marries the widowed protagonist, shanti, whom tanvi will play. I think the show has all the recipes to be a trp audience puller I think, but I think the execution of the story and the show which will ensure trp. A show like this can easily be boring, but team effort of writers, director, set designers and editing team to present the show in an interesting way for the story to sell is important.
