Did Prerna really love Anurag if she can't trust him

Reading different opinions in this forum which brought me to ask you this.

After this public humiliation and being called a gold digger, would you want Prerna to trust and not feel angry at Anurag?

Do u feel if she truly loves him , she should know that he can't behave like this and, if she still doesn't trust Anurag and understand that it's all a facade, then there is something a miss in her love? Do u feel Prerna really loved Anurag?

Well for me , her anger and pain is justified. After this humiliation, trusting him makes no sense . She trusted him that's why she went to his house to help Anu, and to stop this engagement ,despite knowing Anu is getting married to someone else

I think Actions speak louder than words - I think first she thought Anurag was being coerced and I also felt that she should believe in him regardless - because she knows him better than that ..but after today's insult ..even if she does still think something is wrong - there is no way I want her going back to him! ..

also all he told her about him loving her and stuff were words - today he's doing to the action of marrying komo ..so actions do speak louder than words ..and after today's insult ..even when she knows the truth ..I want her to remain independent .Anurag can marry 10 times ..but let prerna stay as this single strong woman and the bread winner of the sharma family ..

I think Prerna is justified in her place to curse Anu, because the way Anu has broken Prerna's heart, at least i feel sad thinking of her situation. But in case of Anurag, it seemed that the CVs tried hard to make us feel sad for Anurag but they failed. Although Parth emoted each and every scene perfectly, but I couldn't connect to Anurag's majburi, considering what they showed about how rich Basus were in the past, for eg, Kolkata's biggest Durga Puja, Diwali ,etc, it was hard to believe that he would do marry Komolika because of money. Had not Molly earned enough for their future that after he is in coma his has to do such things?? I feel Prerna's majburi was much more genuine than that of Anurag's.

So it is my view that Anurag is justified getting slapped and cursed by her now.

But later on I want the misunderstanding should be sorted out and Komolika should be exposed by Prerna herself so that Anu can realise his mistake and even Pre can forgive him then. I also want Pre to trust Anurag and AnuPre to unite but not right now. Now I want to see Prerna from a naive and innocent person becoming strong,bold and confident woman.

Prerna s reacttion was the definite reaction of every girl or even boy (if anurag had been at her place )public humiliation in India especially for girls is equal to death only . No one can be sensible after what happened with Prerna . If your father dies , u brother bhabhi is not suppotive , u have loan on your head , and only one who u love Betreays and humiliates u , u will definitely hate and curse him na .
It s outright anurag s fault in all this he thought that a stupid house is more than her love and respect for her . He deserves all hate and curse from her I feel . This is not sacrifice but stupidity, also it is not completely for Prerna but for saving basu family which is in debt he is doing so . Doing stupid sacrifice than bear the reality of life is coward what anurag did

To answer the question to your title , yes she loved him and like you said because she loved him that's why she went to stop the engagement .
Now coming to the trust factor, trust isn't needed in love , trust is needed to make a relationship work .
Now , regarding Prernas reaction , very frankly if she told Anurag after he had humiliated her , I know you love me , why are you lying ?
It would have seemed like a joke on her .
So what she did then was correct , the slap .
The curse wasn't required .
However , her course of action from Monday will show whether she trusts him or not .

i kind of have to laugh at the question. I know you don't think it should be all forgiven and I agree with you but I really hope no one tries to justify anurag's bs. In my opinion, love shouldn't be unconditional. In a relationship like Anurag and Prerna's, if there's no respect and consistent communication between the two, I can't really bend the truth and look at it a different way. And I also didn't like how desperate they made Prerna? I know she's going through a lot with her father's death so we see more of that desperation but I really hope she comes out of this strong. I just hated the fact that Anurag used Prerna's insecurity against her and actually slapped her with it. I wouldn't have gone that far with the insults, because I wouldn't trust Anurag not to feel that way deep down even if he didn't mean it.

Anurag's actions are sooo hypocritical tho. After the constant "TELL ME THE TRUTH" from him during Naveen track, he can just turn around and literally do the exact same thing to Prerna? HAHAHAH. I laugh. it's stupid. Wouldn't it make more sense if Anurag told prerna what was going on so they could both work together to get out of the predicament? nah cuz that would mean that the characters are capable of using logic. Can't let that happen or else the audience will expect actual sensible storylines. UGHHH

Oh yes , I was a crazy BP fan. I used to make those MOTW threads there :)

Now regarding Prerna going back to Anurag, I wouldn't want it now. May be later but Anurag needs to apologize his ass off and realise that he did a stupid thing and it wasn't needed.

Even last season, I kind of hoped they would get back but after Anu 1 threw insulted her publicly the second time after their marriage by character assassinating her and throwing her out of house. It was the last straw for me .I could not support him anymore .

But I hope this Anurag isnt butchered to that level

Thanks for your responses . I couldn't connect with Anurag much , I know makers wanted us to feel sympathy towards Anu for sacrifice but It ended up with all sympathy being directed towards prerna.

It's not a sacrifice, it's a stupidity .
