What the hell is this?? From which angle does Meera look like a grown up girl's mother. She didn't even look like an 8 year old girl's mother and here they made her a grown up girl's mother. This is the height of madness. And what's up with Anjor hating Chakor? What exactly did she do? I liked Tanya as Meera in Saathiya but here she looks irritating. Maybe because she doesn't look like Chakor's daughter at all.

That whole 7 year leap itself was so irritating and now this drama. It would have been better if they ended it with Imli's death and SuKor living happily with Saanvi. I could never accept Anjor as the sweet little Saanvi. Anjor was really irritating and didn't have any chemistry with SuKor. And to make it worse, they killed off Suraj and brought Raghav. What was the need for it if they were planning this generation leap? At least they could have given SuKor a happy ending. Now everything looks so messed up. I didn't like that new male lead either. All in all, it looks like they have killed the very essence of Udaan.

Yes even I too liked Tanya as Meera in Saathiya and I thought of giving a try to this leap in Udaan.But I couldn't able to watch even a single episode fully.Meera looks more pretty post leap episodes but she in no angle looks like a mother to 18 years old girl.both Tanya and Gaurav looked like characters of sub plot of the story. As long as Meera is in the show no one will accept Tanya as lead. And most importantly viewers liked Meejay powerful performance and not this so called cute love story.Tanya is an apt choice for Anjor but not a good choice for a lead. Be it Tanya or Gaurav they didn't have the impact that Meejay had. Besides Tanya, the character Anjor itself cannot be accepted as lead. Anjor is so selfish.

I hope they end this show with Chakor Raghav reunion.

Welcome to the club, this is a mess: the complete change of theme, the shallow college romance, the choice of new leads, making Meera stay as Chakor and giving her a cameo role, the way they rushed Ragkor's story and its abrupt sad end after the heart breaking end to Sukor.

No one connected with 8 year Anjor, so making her the new lead is a bad move and making her hate Chakor for such a flimsy reason will make viewers reject her more. Agree that the presence of Meera will make it harder for people to accept the new story, she looks so out of place in it and no one could believe she's a mother of an 18 year old, I found it hard to believe she was a mother of an 8 year old.

Worst of all is what happened to Chakor before the leap, failing in her life's mission, cursed by her own people and getting caged in prison. A betrayal of a journey of 4.5 years.

I stopped watching last Friday, if I were satisfied with the end of Chakor's story, I might have given the leap a chance but after what happened, I can't.

I felt a bit bad yesterday after making my post especially as I really like Tanya as an artist. But seeing some of her other fans are feeling the same way I am glad I am not the only one. She is not an arrogant person but she is desperate to make the show a success and win over fans and ends up saying and doing the wrong things. Her Iwmbuzz interview really hasn't helped either. Wish she hadn't made that comment about Meera settling into mum role. I am posting here because some of these get posted in Twitter and I am hoping her team picks this up and passes it on to her. Maybe her PR team could help her in showing a bit more sensitivity

Pollyanna seems Tanya isn't aware of the fact that meera is quitting the show?. It's official and came via toi first, then other sites have published the same news. Meera stated about it in the sbb iv yesterday too. So Tanya should have not said what she said

Iwm should have not wrote the article this way

Tanya should stop harping on being the new lead

Meera is still there

How can she not know. Tanya and Meera were shooting side by side when the interview was given by Meera. Unless I'm spoke to her before the shoot

Meera article of quitting came out on mon, so yes Tanya must be knowing.

I hope Tanya calms down because she is annoying more and more fans.

Personally i couldn't care less about what Tanya says, her reaction isn't helping but even if she was nicer, fans would've still hated the leap.

Makers deserve all the backlash they're getting, Tanya is just a distraction. I won't be surprised if they're making her give interviews to distract fans into targeting her.

I know long running shows end up taking leaps but the issue here is that the makers have destroyed everything the show stood for, they've nullified the whole journey.

This was a show about a young girl who was born into slavery and managed to get free, she grew up and returned to free her people, so showing her being tricked into enslaving them again and the same people killing her family and trying to kill her is an unforgivable betrayal.

Then comes the fate of the jodi, they gave a sad end to Sukor by killing Suraj, many quit the show then, those who stayed consoled themselves that we still got the same actors but then they rushed their story, didn't give us any happy moments and separated them forever. We lost everything by this leap.

Usually when a generational leap happens, they show a couple of feel good episodes before disaster strikes, we got 3 weeks of torture and tears.

Anjor reconciling with Chakor won't satisfy us because we never connected with Anjor and never considered her Sukor's daughter. Even if they change their minds and show Anjor freeing Azaadganj, we won't get closure because we cared for Chakor and Meera.

Keeping Meera as a middle aged Chakor has made matters worse and increased the fans anger.

Reuniting Ragkor and showing a few scenes of them together won't fix the disaster but it would be a small consolation.

I think the makers are getting her to give interviews but not as distraction . I think it is for damage control. It is clear from her iv that someone from PH spoke to her because she was upset. Maybe they got her to give the interviews . I am not sure if the reporter skewed her words for more publicity. It was also written that Meera and the new leads will carry the show forward. Meera had already announced her exit by then
